To all students remember The junior class will be selling t-shirts in the mixing bowl during STEP. Shirts aree $10 each and must be paid for before your order will be placed. Sales will end on Friday, September 26 th. Shirts must be paid for in advance.
Attention senior writers! The Fran Abrams Creative Writing Award deadline is fast approaching! If you re an aspiring professional writer and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, you could win $1000 for your poetry, fiction or personal essay. The application deadline is October 1, so don t wait! For more details, please see your English teacher. Do you like to write short stories? If so, the Gaithersburg Book Festival Short Story Contest is seeking submissions. Submission deadline is February 20, 2015. For more information, talk to your English teacher.
