8.35 Letter from Brian Jeffray, dated February 5, 2018 regarding Cash In Lieu of Parking Action: refer to staff for a recommendation back to Council 9.0 RESOLUTIONS FROM OTHER MUNICIPALITIES 9.1 Letter from the Town of Essex, dated February 1, 2018 regarding School closures - purchase by Municipalities The resolution passed by the Town of Essex reads as follows: That the Town of Essex send a request to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), ROMA and all other municipalities in Ontario requesting that when schools boards make decisions to close schools, that they have to offer the building to the local municipality for a dollar. 10.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 10.1 Water Meters Federation of Canadian Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program pending and referred to budget 10.2 Landfill Three Committee Recycling Centre Agreement (Clause 11) pending next draft will be on the March 5, 2018 Council meeting 11.0 BY-LAWS AND AGREEMENTS 11.1. By-Law 17 of 2018, being a By-Law to authorize an Amendment Agreement to the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund Transfer Payment Agreement between Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario and the Corporation of the Town of Goderich The purpose of this By-Law is to provide the agreement modifications that support eligible costs up to the new program end date. 6
11.2 By-Law 18 of 2018, being a By-Law to authorize a Hosting Service Agreement for a Municipal website between the Corporation of the Town of Goderich and esolutions Group and to repeal By-Law 140 of 2017 The purpose of this By-Law is to amend the Hosting Service Agreement with esolutions to add the Wildcard SSL Certificate for the purpose of servicing the Town s domain connection between the Town s website and Customer s Internet browser 11.3 By-Law 19 of 2018, being a By-Law to temporarily stop up traffic on May 17 th, 2018 on Bennett Street from South Street to Catherine Street, for the purpose of the Friendship Games The purpose of this By-Law is to temporarily close a road for the annual GDCI Friendship Games 11.4 By-Law 20 of 2018, being a By-Law to authorize the signing of an Amendment to Demand Credit Facility Agreement between the Corporation of the Town of Goderich and West Coast Huron Energy Inc. (Goderich Hydro) The purpose of this By-Law is to update the terms of the promissory note owing by Goderich Hydro in the amount of $2 million to reflect an annual interest rate of 7.25% effective January 1, 2018 That By-Laws 17, 18, 19 and 20 of 2018 be now introduced and read a first time. Bye in the amount of $415,700.00 + HST for the construction of the pavilion at Goderich Recreation Park. 8
