September 11, 2018 Greetings to the Roswell High School Community, This Thursday evening is Open House and all of us at Roswell are excited to welcome you to our school for a chance to meet your student s teachers and get a small sense of what a school day is like. Here is the agenda for the evening: 6:00 pm 6:30 pm Counselors will be handing out schedules in the cafeteria. Parents are strongly encouraged to get their student s schedule from either their student or Home Access before attending. Parents should be in their student s First Period class. A short video will be presented and some announcements will be made about the evening. 1 st Period 6:40 pm 6:50 pm 2 nd Period 6:55 pm 7:05 pm 3 rd Period 7:10 pm 7:20 pm 4 th Period 7:25 pm 7:35 pm 5 th Period 7:40 pm 7:50 pm 6 th Period 7:55 pm 8:05 pm A few other notes about Open House: We do have some teachers who can t attend because of graduate school, coaching, or other commitments. If they are going to be absent, I have asked that they share this information with their students. Roswell s Bi-Lingual Liaison, Esmer Johnson, will be hosting a meeting for Spanish speaking parents at 5:30 pm in the Media Center. If you do not have the ability to log into Home Access Center (HAC), we will have an employee in the Media Center from 6:0 pm to 8:00 pm to provide that information. Open House is not the appropriate time to have an individual conference about your student s progress in class. If you need to speak with a teacher, please feel free to send an email or make an appointment. I look forward to seeing everybody at Roswell Thursday evening!
