1 Volume 7, Issue 9/10 September/October 2010 Campaign 16/17/18/19 (Trendsetter 18/19/20/21) REACHING THE HEIGHTS OF SUCCESS! Success Pinnacle Team Newsletter FROM OUR LEADERS Use these acronyms of PERSE- VERE to encourage yourself! Persist no matter what. Determine your goal. Decide what Avon success would mean in your life. Write it down. Post it. $300 extra per month makes a difference with most people. If you aren t earning $300 per month, maybe that s your goal. Some of you are already earning more than that. You may want to add $300 to what you are earning. These are your goals, your dreams, your visions. Endure discomfort. Challenging customers & Avon shorts may frustrate you. Smile & brush it off. Remember the wagon train! Request help. Involve your family and friends in your efforts to find new customers. You ll be amazed at their willingness to help. Have them take brochures to work, the school bus, ball games. Steadfastly hold on to your beliefs and values. What do you believe about yourself? Why do you want to achieve your goal? Your WHY is your motivation. The wagon people had the goal of the West. WHY? To provide a better life for themselves. Envision triumph. See yourself at the victory line. You have increased sales, better commission. You are closer to your goal. Make a Note: District 2872: Welcome to our new District Manager! Very consistently keep at it. Be faithful to good habits. Add one customer per campaign. One way is to add one pack of brochures per campaign. Ask current customers for referrals. Embrace adversity as your teacher. We learn from challenges. The wagon people learned how to cross rivers without bridges as they crossed one after another. Refuse to give up. We have been doing Avon for 17 years and we plan to do it until we die! There have been times when we wanted to give up; but we knew that was the sure way to fail. Now, we are sure glad we didn t. We are enjoying the fruits of our labors. Hope is a powerful encourager. Each of us needs three things in life: something to do, someone to love and something to look forward to. Never, Never, Never give up! Enjoy and celebrate every tiny bit of progress. One new customer? Celebrate! Put out 50 brochures in a day and tell a friend who loves to give you a CHEER! Malcolm and Mary Shelton We are the Mighty Eagles - we see further fly faster soar higher! Donald Grove donald.grove@avon.com
