FOOD SERVICE I know this is the Valentine s Day edition of Wildcat Weekly, but I think this qualifies as an act of love, kindness and selflessness. PISD has been helping with the East Texas Food Bank Weekend Backpack program for over a year. We help receive, transport and store the backpacks twice a month so they can be delivered to children in need in our District. Every campus has helped with smiling faces in the hot months and most recently the really cold months. Today we narrowly missed the rain. I was literally driving back to my office when it began to rain. The volunteers who have been doing this for years, are so very grateful for our help and I m so happy to be part of this program. I don t always get a chance to take pictures of our volunteers, but I have two to share The PISD Maintenance department, and I mean the ENTIRE department, helped in December when there was 2 trailers filled with boxes and today, Administrators from helped. Thank you for all your help and cooperation. It is very much appreciated. High School- Chemical Circus Junior High- Choir TACE Parent Meeting What you can do to help your child at home.
