TEAM CHALLENGE Two-Best-Balls-of-Four Person Team. Stableford Scoring (95% of Handicap). Entries accepted by teams only. No single entries. Four-person team will be split into groups of two and will play with two people from another team so that all the players will have markers. Closest to the Hole at each club first day only. Flight by USGA handicap index total of all four team members. Pairings: 1 st round pairings are by the sum of the handicap index of team within flights. Points are calculated by the two best balls of the fourperson team based on both gross and net points. When teams sign up, the first two players listed will be paired together and the second two will be paired together. However, all four scores are considered and the total of the two best scores (Stableford points) is the Team score. Equal Gross and Net in every flight. SWINGIN SENIORS 1 Day at Each Course or 1 Course Both Days Four-Ball Stroke Play 2-Day Better Ball of Partners Stableford Scoring (95% of Handicap). Age Divisions: Swingin Seniors is open to members age 70 and up. Entrant must meet the age requirement during the year of the tournament. If oversubscribed, members 80 years old and above are automatically accepted. Players whose birth date qualifies them for two tournaments may play both tournaments for which they qualify. Maximum Handicap is 40. Closest to the Hole first day only. Entries by partners only. Entries are accepted, refused or canceled as partners. No single entries. Flight by USGA handicap index of team. If partners have a difference of more than eight strokes, an additional 10% reduction will be applied to both of their course handicaps. TEAM MATCH PLAY 1 course 2 days This is a great opportunity to play Match Play in a friendly environment. Two-person teams - flighted. Sign up as a twosome. Awards for Gross and Net. Closest to the Hole awarded first day. One award only. Enter as two-person partners. A player may represent her team as a single in the event that one person cancels. Handicap: Reduce the Course Handicaps of all four players by the player with the lowest Course Handicap, who will then play from scratch. Each of the three other players is allowed 100 percent of the difference. (per USGA) Format: Match Play. Two-person teams compete against other teams for Match Play points. One point for a win (gross and/or net), ½ point for a tie. Winners will be determined by accumulated points after all rounds are completed. There will be 4 nine-hole matches. Each team will compete against four other teams. Pairings: All matches will be randomly paired, within their flight, prior to event Equal gross and net prizes in each flight Ties broken by USGA Card Matching Method, last nine holes played. 3

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS 1 Course 2 Days Stroke Play Gross Only. Entries are open to the Club Champions and Runners-up for the previous two years, the current WGANC Stroke Play Champion, the CWC Champion, and the previous 5 years WGANC Champion of Champions. All participants must presently belong to a WGANC 18-Hole Women s Club and have been a member of a WGANC 18- Hole Women s Club the years they were Champion. Participant must be representing the Member Club at which they were Champion. Must be an amateur golfer and 18 years of age or older. If the field is oversubscribed, players will be accepted in the order listed below (ALL GROSS): 1. WGANC s defending overall Champion of Champions 2. Last year s WGANC 18-hole Women s Club Champion 3. Last year s WGANC 18-hole Women s Club Runner-up 4. Last year s WGANC Stroke Play Champion 5. Last year s CWC Champion, if a member of WGANC 6. Last five years WGANC overall Champion of Champions 7. Last two years WGANC 18-hole Women s Club Champions 8. Last two years WGANC 18-hole Women s Club Runner-up Closest to the Hole first day only. A player may walk and/or have a caddie. She must pay cart fees, even if not used. Caddies must walk at all times. Flights by USGA handicap index. Play to 100% of course handicap. One overall Champion. Equal gross prizes in each flight (no net). Ties broken for overall Champion by a 2-hole aggregate playoff. If still tied, there will be a hole-by-hole sudden death playoff. STROKE PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP 1 Day at Each Course or 1 Course Both Days Lowest 112 Indexes accepted-selection will be the lowest 112 handicap indexes as of the revision date closest to and prior to the closing date of registration Overall Champion is the lowest gross score of the field and may come from any flight. Closest to the Hole first day only Flight by USGA handicap index. Play to 100% of course handicap A player may walk and/or have a caddie. She must pay cart fees, even it not used. Caddies must walk at all times. Inclement weather - tournament will not be canceled unless there is evidence of lightning. Equal gross and net prizes in each flight. 2-day gross score determines Overall Gross Champion. A tie for the Overall Champion will be broken by a 2-hole aggregate playoff. If still tied, then there will be a hole-byhole sudden death playoff. Holes for playoff and sudden death are determined prior to tournament. All other ties will be broken using the USGA Card Matching Method. 6
HERS N HIS Four-Ball Stroke Play. Team is one woman and one man. 2-Day Better Ball of Partners. Stableford Scoring. Women: Maximum Handicap 40, then a 95% reduction, Men: Maximum Handicap 36, then a 90% reduction. Must have an established USGA Handicap. Closest to the Hole at each club first day only (1 woman & 1 man). The team is one man and one woman. Entries are accepted, refused or canceled as partners. No single entries. Flight using USGA Handicap Index of team. If partners have a difference of more than eight strokes, an additional 10% reduction will be applied to both of their course handicaps. Section 3-5 must be applied, making the second handicap adjustment for men playing with women. Team score is the best hole-by-hole net ball of partners converted to Stableford points. Equal gross and net prizes in each flight. Women will receive Silver Medallions and Men will receive gift cards. Ties will be broken using the USGA Card Matching Method. 7
TWO-PERSON SCRAMBLE 1 Day at Each Course or 1 Course Both Days Format is 2-Person Scramble, Stroke Play. Closest to the Hole first day only. Entries by partners only. Entries are accepted, refused or canceled as partners. No single entries. This is a true Scramble. Each player will tee off and the team will select the best ball. Both players will hit their next shot from that position and continue in this manner until the ball is holed. Each member of the side is required to have at least 6 drives for 18 holes. Handicaps will be adjusted as follows: Player with the lower course handicap will receive 35% and the player with the higher course handicap will receive 10% of their handicaps. The total adjusted handicap will be combined and converted to a side handicap. Sides will be flighted by the total handicap allowed.. Equal Gross and Net Awards. Ties will be broken using the USGA Card Matching Method. 8
ECLECTIC TOURNAMENT 2 Days - 1 Course Format is Individual Stroke play flighted. Closest to the Hole first day only. One award only. Players receive 100% of their handicaps and strokes are applied according to hole handicap allocation. Day one, each player will play 18 holes and record the gross score on each hole. Day two, the player will attempt to better their score on each hole. The tournament score will be computed by taking the best score achieved after two days. Scoring: Day one will be posted as a "T" score and day two as a regular score. Holes not played or completed will be posted using the ESC. Equal Gross and Net Awards for best eclectic score. Ties will be broken using the USGA and Last to First Hole method. 9
