Scotty Silveira 2009-2010 MERCED COUNTY SPRING FAIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS PRESIDENT S LETTER On behalf of myself, management, staff, volunteers, and the Fair Board of Directors I would like to welcome you to the 2010 Merced County Spring Fair. With you and all of us we hope to make the fair a fun, educating, and safe time for everyone. This year s theme is Celebrate the Past - Imagine Our Future! The theme this year reminds me of all of the great memories that I have had at this fair. Myself along with my mother, grandfather, and now my children, in Pee-Wee showmanship have all shown here. I celebrate my memories and can t wait to make new ones. There are a lot of fun things to do for every one young and old. You can visit Henry Miller Farm where you can see and learn about all the different animals. Ranchwood Little Hands will give you a hands on educational experience for the future farmers. We have a great livestock show that is the envy of many other fairs. Butler Amusements will be back with their safe and clean rides in our carnival area. There are plenty of arts and crafts, floral designs, and agricultural exhibits. And who can forget about all of the great food, drinks and deserts that the fair has to offer. The Merced County Spring Fair is proud of the fact that we offer a safe, clean, fun experience for the whole community with the help of the Merced County Sheriff s Office. I hope that you come to the fair and Celebrate the Past and I can t wait to Imagine Our Future with you. So come join us!
