It was a great week of Homecoming festivities. If you missed anything, please check out our Facebook page to see plenty of pictures and videos. Each year, all of the Homecoming activities get better and better. Thank you to Moon School District and all of those that helped make this a special week for the students and the community. Special CONGRATS to this year s Homecoming Queen Amaya Faulkner. This week we travel to Peters Township for another Conference game. Peters is currently 2-1 in he conference, winning against West Allegheny and Woodland Hills and losing to Upper St. Clair. It s another important week for the Tigers so we need all of the support we can get! Please plan to travel to the game. And as always, leave early to avoid any possible traffic situations! Let s try to keep the boys on schedule this week. Make sure they are getting plenty of rest and lots of good food!

CONCESSION STAND All of the food at the concession stand will be completely free during our next home game! Just kidding I was wondering if anyone reads this page. If you are reading this THANK YOU! It s been a long road for the concession stand this season. We need volunteers to step up for these last 2 home games. If you have not fulfilled your requirement, please sign up as soon as possible. Please do make the QBC or the class liaisons track you down. If you have any issues editing the google doc, please email your info to moonqbc@yahoo.com and we will add you to the list! Again, each family must have someone work the concession stand for 1 entire game. This duty does not have to be fulfilled in the same game you can work half of one game and half of another game. You can sign up now for your concession stand duty at the following location: Concession duty sign up link Freshman families are up next for the October 19 th game for food donations! Be sure to check out the link below and sign up with your contribution as soon as possible. Waiting until the last minute makes it hard for everyone involved in the concession stand so we appreciate it! Again, all games are not available to sign up yet. Based on leftover items from the game prior, the sign up list may change from week to week. Please check for sign ups the weekend before your assigned game!! To sign up for food donations, please Oct 19: 9 th grade football families go to www.perfectpotluck.com! Oct 26: All cheer and football Username: Ganni Password: 1972

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES To volunteer for any of these opportunities, please email moonqbc@yahoo.com. This list has been the same all season. We are not getting any volunteers. PLEASE help us and step up today! CAN YOU HELP? 50/50 RAFFLE: We still need 2 people for one side to man a table prior to the game and collect money and give out tickets for the 50/50 raffle. You would also need to walk through the crowd at the start of the second quarter. Concession Stand Manager: shopping, managing food sign ups and volunteer sign up, set up, clean up, organizing supplies Sponsors: We rely on our sponsors! You would need to solicit sponsorships, retrieve payment, and coordinate their ads and/or banners for the games. Program: The program needs to be put together and produced by the first game of the season. You will coordinate sponsors ads, shout outs, pictures, etc. You can either take on the design process or work with the printer to coordinate everything. End of year banquet: After the season, and usually after the holidays, a formal banquet is organized for players, cheerleaders and families. Duties include: Coordination with the hotel, invites, programs. PLEASE consider volunteering! We are able to provide our kids with such a great experience, but we can only continue if we get help!

GAMEDAY PROGRAMS The 2018 Game Day Program is complete and will be sold for $5 at all home games. If you are available to sell them at any of the upcoming home games, please email Chris Tollan at fourtollans@yahoo.com. THURSDAY NIGHT MEALS HAVE YOU DONATED YET? In the past families provided food, drink and dessert. Thursday feedings are approximately $400. Instead of families buying food and cooking, serving, cleaning etc. we are just asking for monetary donations to help cover the cost. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Please mail to Moon QBC PO Box 680 Moon Twp PA 15108, or give to Bob Parsons or Coach Linn. Just write Thursday feedings in the memo. We thank you in advance! This will make things a lot easier for all of us on Thursday nights. If anyone would still like to be a part of serving the food on Thursdays, it will be delivered at 5pm to the high school cafeteria and anyone is welcome to come and help. FOOTBALL LIAISONS Did you know each grade has a football parent liaison? This person coordinates communication between the QBC and the families. They organize donations for the Cash Bash and the Golf Outing. They solicit volunteers. They are a great source of information should you ever have any questions! See liaisons below: 9 th : Shirl Hoak phillipssunshine@yahoo.com 10 th : Tammy Panucci dtab1034@comcast.net 11 th : Holly Jadlocki hollyjad@hotmail.com 12 th : Kirsten Brennan kirstenbrennan@outlook.com SENIOR FAMILIES It s almost that time! Senior night will be here before you know it and we want to make sure it s a very special night for the players and cheerleaders and the families! Start to gather up your pictures of your son or daughter. The pictures can be whatever you want baby, midget football, friends your favorite pictures throughout their life! Scan them and put them on a disc, thumb drive, SD card (whatever works for you they will be returned) or email them hollyjad@hotmail.com. Please fill out the form at the end of this newsletter (you should have received this already from a coach or board member). Please get this form turned in as soon as possible! If you have any questions, please contact Peggy Snyder at margaret.snyder@svclink.com or text at 412-639-3168.
