NEU NEW NEU NEW NEU NEW NEU NEW Out of all youth participants entrants will be drawn. These entrants will ride together as a national team. All individual achievements will be added to these teams. The team with the most points (1 st place = 10 points, 2 nd place, 9 points etc.) will win a special award. Intention of this National Cup is that the European youth riders will have the chance to get to know each other. General European Championships Rules and Regulations Participation only open to ApHC members. Rules and regulations, if not stated different, conform ApHC Rulebook 2011. 1. The show organizer has the right to make changes to the Show schedule and application until the deadline. The show organizer has the right to change the showplace. The show organizer has the right, by paying back the entry fees, to cancel the show, in case of special circumstances. The show organizer is not responsible for lost or delayed mail. 2. Participants are not accommodated by appealing to 278 und 831 BGB. The horse owner and or exhibitor agrees, by signing the Show entry form all rules and regulations set out by the show organization by handing in the show entry form the exhibitor and or owner accept the rules and regulations of the ApHC 2011 rulebook. 3. The above named rules also apply for grooms and or visitors from the moment they enter the show grounds. 4. Payments on the Show Grounds can be effected only in cash! 5. The entry will only be processed, if a bank transfer has been confirmed by the issuing bank. The title of European Champion will only be awarded if there are at least three competitors in a class and the horse owner has been a member of a recognized European ApHC association since 01.08.2011. The appropriate member identification cards as well as horse-vaccination and identification cards are to be submitted to the nomination office. 7. Point calculation to become European champion is as follows. In every class the first eight entries receive points. 8 points for the highest placed entry down to 1 point for the eight placed entry. The points earned in a class are tabulated for all four shows. The entry who has earned the highest number of points in the class will be named European champion. All ties will be broken by a tiebreaking judge (predetermined by show management). 8. During this year s European Championships doping tests are executed according to the rules of the trot racing. Thus all forbidden substances can be proved. The owner agrees with the signature under denomination that he will compensate for all expenses of these doping tests (ca. 1.000,--) in case of positive findings. 9. Horses participating do need a Passport with all vaccination written down. Horses from other European countries then Germany also need EU certified health papers. - 2 -
10. All horses need to have a liability insurance. 11. According to the German law ( 18 paragraph 1, to No. 8.) clipping or palpation of hairs around the chin and nostrils and inside the ears is forbidden and will be prosecuted. Owners of clipped horses arriving at the European Championship show are not allowed to participate in the show. At the European Championships in Aachen the German animal protection law is applied and thus fully recognized and accepted by the participants. Infringement will lead to disqualification from participation. 12. Participants who withdraw entries receive no payback of the entry fees. On presentation of a veterinary certificate in case of illness or injury of the horse before start of the show, the organizer may, on application, return 50% of the entry fee. The Office charge will in principal not be returned. Stable rent only can be returned if the reserved box can be let to somebody else right away. 13. The riders/exhibitors are held responsible for damages, which their horses cause to third parties or to facilities of the organizer. Consequently every liability of the organizer for spectators, exhibitors and horses, as well as material and equipment is excluded. The participation is at one his own risk. Between the organizer at one hand and the visitors on the other hand there exists no contract ratio.. Timetable EC 2011 A more precise timetable will be available during the show at the show office.
