Athletes who signed are: Baseball: Ed Johnson (Auburn) Carson Skipper (Auburn) Softball: Tate Moseley (Auburn) Jade Thomas (Alabama-Huntsville) Track: Jake Diggs (Samford) Boys Golf: Dawson Atkinson (South Alabama) An event honoring these students was held Wednesday in the HTHS cafeteria. Athletes, along with their coaches, spoke at the event.

Page 5 of 18 Congratulations to Noah Graham, Anna Kate Hindman, Caroline Crane, and Isabella Weyerman for achieving all Superior ratings in all of the events that they participated in at the District Trumbauer Theater Festival at Corner High School on November 4th. All four will be advancing to the state competition at UNA on December 1st and 2nd. Noah will also be auditioning for a scholarship from the Alabama Conference of Theater on November 30th as part of the Trumbauer Festival. Students should bring their canned goods in to their 1st period class. 1st period classes reaching their goal are entered into a drawing for a breakfast from SCA. The Trussville Fire Department will pick up the cans of food the end of November. BRING IN THOSE CANS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Christmas Sock Drive HTMS is collecting socks for Children's Hospital, in honor of Kevin Wilson. Classes can earn the Chick-Fil-A cows for reaching reading goals throughout the year. This month the cows were awarded to the classrooms with the highest number of student participants in the AEA Be a Champion and Read Contest. The following are winners in each grade level: K-Childs 1st-Wainwright 2nd-E. Perry 3rd-Kuhn 4th-McKinley 5th-Brasher/Bresnan Thank you to all students who turned in a reading log for this challenge! Team Alabama had the most readers!!!! The next time the cows moooooove will be to the classrooms with the highest number of Ticket To Read minutes logged for their grade level.
