Volunteers Adult and student volunteers (grade 6 and older) are needed to assist with this program. Volunteers can also sign up online! All Adult volunteers 18 years of age and older must be VIRTUS compliant with background check. Medical form also required for minor volunteers. You may wear Reds attire or red shirts to celebrate the opener. Cost will remain the same.25 to be out of uniform. The Big Bruin Book Bonanza The Bruin Book Club is sponsoring this fun event on Thursday, April 11 from 6 7:30 for students in grades K 3 to promote the love of reading. Annual Youth Group Flower Sale It s that time again when we are looking ahead to decorating our yards with fragrant and colorful spring flowers! Order forms are available in the school office and on the website under Youth Group. Orders are due no later than Monday, April 8. Flower pick-up is Saturday, April 27. Athletic News Bruin Bash 2019 It is another week closer to the 2019 Bruin Bash which will be held on April 13th and the next Early Bird Drawing which will take place on March 21st with the winner receiving $250. Students should continue to use the attached Ticket Order Form for ticket sales. See attached $5,000 Reverse Raffle Ticket Information for more details. Thank you to all who have already sold tickets. We appreciate your support of St. Teresa Athletics! Congratulations! St. Teresa has much to be proud of this week. We are happy to congratulate the third and seventh grade girls Basketball Teams that were both winners in their divisions of the St. Teresa Tournament this past weekend! Congratulations on all of your hard work and your victory at home. Way to go lady Bruins! PTG News St. Teresa Night With the Cyclones Join us for St. Teresa Night with the Cyclones on Friday, April 5 th at 7:30. It s dollar night! See the attached flyer for more information and to order your tickets. Ticket orders must be returned to school by Wednesday, March 27 th. The PTG has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 4 th at 7 pm in AVILA HALL (please make note of location change). We will be having a "State of the PTG Address" discussing overview of PTG, upcoming events, financial update, Walk- A-Thon details and much more! Child care (school age children only please) will be provided in the Cafeteria. Hope to see you there! Help us Raise Some Dough! Get your Easter goodies ordered early and help St. Teresa at the same time! Orders for Busken coffee cakes and cookies are attached. Ask your family and friends and order for yourself and you won t have to stand in line at the bakery. The order form is attached and must be returned by Friday, March 29 th. Pickup will be held on Wednesday, April 17 th ; time to be determined later. Walk-a-Thon Bake Sale To kick-off the St. Teresa Annual Walk-a- Thon, the Walk-a-Thon Committee is hosting a bake sale. The bake sale will take place at the 7:00am and 9:30am masses on Sunday, March 31. The Committee needs your help with baked good items. The Big Bruin Book Bonanza Thursday, April 11 6:00 7:30 in Avila Hall for students in grades K-3 (Younger siblings are invited, too!) Help us celebrate Mo Willems and all of his amazing books! This free event is sponsored by The Bruin Book Club in order to promote the love of reading in young kids! * Kids (& adults) can come in PJs and bring pillows and blankets. *Some of the activities include reading books aloud, crafts, a puppet show, games, and photo fun! (Bring your cameras!) *For a small fee you can purchase snacks and drinks (The proceeds go to our expenses and end of the year party.) * Reservations are requested (for planning purposes) AND an adult must accompany children and remain at the event (for safety purposes!) **Our reservation form is attached!**

Back by popular demand, the St. Teresa Athletics Association will once again host a $5,000 Reverse Raffle to be awarded at our Bruin Bash held on Saturday April 13th, 2019. Participants do not need to be present to win*. Ordering a raffle ticket will automatically enter you into both early bird drawings and the main prize drawings awarded at the Bruin Bash. Purchasing a Raffle ticket will also get you free entrance to the Bruin Bash itself ($10 value). This year instead of letting the adults have all of the fun, we are offering prize incentives to students who sell tickets. All proceeds from the raffle will go towards St. Teresa Athletics. Instructions: Raffle Entries are $50 each or two for $90. See Order form for details. There are two Early Bird Raffle prizes of $250 to be awarded on February 16th and March 21st. If you win an early bird prize you will still be entered into the Main Prize raffle on April 13th. Please have students turn all order forms into their teacher as well as all money collected prior to the February 16th early bird drawing. Your student will receive another order form to continue selling tickets until the final turn in deadline of March 15th. After all ticket forms are received, students will be given raffle ticket stubs to disperse to those who purchased them. The ticket stubs are merely for receipt purposes. Everyone who purchases a ticket will automatically be entered into the drawings and added to the Bruin Bash paid VIP list at the door. We can accept Personal Check, Cash or Credit Card.
