SANCTION: HOST: LOCATION: FACILITY:. COACHES: RULES: This meet is sanctioned by USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming. Sanction # IN10069 Jennings County Swim Club. Harry Purkhiser Natatorium at the Jennings County Middle School, 820 West Walnut Street, North Vernon, IN 47265. The Jennings County Middle School is located approximately one mile West of North Vernon on the South side of US Highway 50. It is the southernmost building in the Jennings County Schools Complex at that location. You should be able to enter through any of the school entrances (High School, Elementary School, or Middle School) to reach the Middle School parking and the Natatorium. Eight lane, 25 yard indoor pool with Wave Eater lane lines, Daktronics electronic timing system with touch pads, backup buttons, electronic horn/strobe light start, electronic display scoreboard, and Hy-Tek Meet Manager for Windows software. Adequate spectator seating is available. Camping area for swimmers will be provided. Coaches MUST constantly display their USA Swimming coach credentials to gain deck access. The meet referee reserves the right to ask for coach credential display and/or deny deck access if the coach does not comply. Current USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming rules will govern this meet. USA Swimming Rule 202.3.2 At a sanctioned, competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or the Meet Referee shall assist the athlete in making arrangements for such supervision. Coaches and officials must be registered with USA Swimming in order to be on the pool deck in the capacity and must constantly display their coach or official credentials. Access to the pool deck will be limited to coaches, swimmers, and working officials. Swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming to be accepted into this meet. Age as of shall determine the swimmer s age for the entire meet. All swimmers must compete in their own age group. In swimming competitions, the competitor must wear only one swimsuit in one or two pieces except as provided in USA Swimming Rule 205.10.1. All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials. For men, the swimsuit shall not extend above the navel nor below the knees, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor extend below the knee. MEET FORMAT: All events will be timed finals. We will be using a Clerk of Course for 8 and Under Swimmers only. JCSC reserves the right to limit the number of heats in any or all events to keep the time line manageable. JCSC will refund entry fees for swimmers who are not allowed to compete in events limited by the host. CHECK-IN: ENTRY LIMIT: ALL SWIMMERS ARE TO CHECK IN PRIOR TO WARMUPS. Check-in sheets will be taken down 15 minutes after the start of warm-ups. A swimmer who fails to check in will be scratched. Swimmers are limited to five (5) individual events and two (2) relay events.

We reserve the right to limit entries to adhere to the four hour time limit for age group swimming. We will extend the deadline if the meet is not full. Substitutions for scratched entries will not be allowed. Corrections, deletions, and/or additions (space permitting) will be accepted via e-mail only through Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Any additions or corrections after January 13, 2010 will be considered deck entries and the deck entry fees will apply (only if open lanes are available). PSYCH SHEETS: FINAL RESULTS: FACILITY NOTE: SCHEDULE: Psych sheets will be available at the concession stand for $5.00 for full meet. Each team shall receive a Hy-Tek file of meet results on disk or by e mail. One hard copy of the final results shall be provided to each team in the form of an html file. Additional hard copies of final results may be purchased for $5.00 each. The Jennings County Swim Club is very grateful to the Jennings County School Corporation for the use of the pool and middle school facilities. We all have a responsibility to protect and care for these facilities and our privilege to use them. JCSC reserves the right to expel from the meet and premises, with no refund of entry fees, etc. any swimmer or other person in attendance who is deemed to be excessively rowdy, destructive, or who is found in any unauthorized areas. Coaches and parents are expected to keep their swimmers under control at all times. It is also recommended that swimmers and spectators not leave valuables unattended.
