Safety Beach Sailing Club Keelboat & Trailable E-News 19 th February 2019 CLUB CAPTAINS NEWS: I was lucky enough to be up in the tower for the Sunday Club Championship race and had to check twice when RELLS signed on with 7 people on board!! We had some lovely flat seas for the Sunday Race but unfortunately not enough wind for the yachts competing to even complete the shortest course we have. Can t think of too many better ways to pass a pleasant Sunday than drifting along the cliffs at Mt Martha. We hope you are all getting ready for Sail Peninsula 19. This great weekend begins on Thursday with the MYC Twilight Race to the SBSC Tower. Join Lady Cassandra as she sails down to Mornington leaving the Martha Cove entrance at 16:30H. Please see details below on how to enter and sign on for this race. Please note that if you want to compete in any of the Sail Peninsula Races then you need to enter the SP19 regatta. The very popular Friday Twilight Pursuit, the Passage Race to BYS and the Sunday Course Race are only open to SP19 entrants. A big thank you to Rob Weir for the Rules Trivia Night. A great evening of rules and animations. The best message was to avoid collisions at all costs and outsail the opposition on all legs.
