Entrance Requirements: 1. Stall reservation must be paid for in advance. If you need to cancel your stall, your money will only be refunded if we can fill your cancelled stall. No payment with stall reservation = no stall reservation 2. If you would like to mail your entry and payment, entries must be postmarked by June 12, 2015. If you would like to fax or email your entry along with your credit card, entries must be received by June 19, 2015 3. Open to all breeds and grade horses. 4. rules apply to all classes. All classes will follow the current High Point Rule Book. Copies of these rules are available www.nrha.com or www.wcra.info. 5. Owners/riders who are not members are no longer required to pay a show fee in order to compete at approved shows. However, in order to be eligible for high point awards, owners/riders must be members. 6. classes: Both owners and riders must be current members to compete in classes. Horses must have a valid competition license to compete in classes. 7. To qualify for the High Point, both owner & rider must be members. All class high point fees are payable even if not a member.

. Riders and Horse owners must provide current HCBC membership numbers or Alberta equivalent or proof of liability insurance. 9. All contestants must sign a waiver before their show package will be released. 10. Photocopies of competition license, registration, and membership cards must accompany entries for both owner & rider.. Competitors entering concurrent classes will pay only the higher of the judge s fees & only one video fee. 12. Cheques must be made out to the in Canadian funds. New payment available through Visa or MasterCard complete credit card information must be supplied on entry form for credit card to be charged. 13. No rider under the age of 19 will be permitted to ride a stallion in classes. Section B. Penalties, Fines, and Refunds: 1. Stalls MUST be reserved and PAID for by Stall Reservation deadline. Late stall requests may not receive preferred stabling requests. Late Stall requests will be charged a $25/stall late fee. Payment must be postmarked by entry deadline or late fees will apply. No phone-in reservations will be accepted 2. Payment must be postmarked by the entry deadline or post entry fees will apply. Post entry fees are $60. 3. NSF cheques are not considered timely payment and post entry fees will apply. A $50.00 NSF charge will also apply. Accounts will have 7 days to be paid in full by cash or money order or they will be reported to the for further disciplinary action. 4. Scratches accompanied with a vet certificate and received 5 days prior to the start of the show, will receive their stall fee as refund. 5. Substitutions will be accepted with a vet certificate and a $25 substitution fee. 6. Any competitor who enters in a class for which they are ineligible will incur a $50 fine. 7. Once the show is complete credits will be mail refund cheque from. Payments made by credit card will be credited to your credit card. Section C. Pay Out (payouts will be sent to class winners after all paper work is cleared through ): 1. payback percentages will be used to calculate pay outs unless otherwise stipulated. It is the competitor s responsibility to be aware of their earnings and enter classes accordingly. Eligibility criteria are explained in the class list provided in the show package for all classes and are as of Jan 1st, current year. 2. classes use earnings only, which are moneys earned in a approved event. eligibility lists are available at www.nrha.com Section E. Post Entries: 1. Post entries will be accepted up to 2 hours prior to class start; with the exception of the first class of the day, which must be post entered the day before. NO EXCEPTIONS! It is show management s discretion as to when the draw is posted. 2. Post entries will be charged an FLAT fee of $60.00 per horse. 3. Post entries will be added to the start (beginning) of the regular draw for Friday & Saturday classes and at the end of the draw on Sunday. 4. Show committee reserves the right to close post entries at any time. Section F. Stalls, and Arena Availability: Stalls MUST be paid for in advance 1. All horses on the grounds, whether stalled or not, must be entered in a minimum of one class at the show. 2. See show schedule for specific move in times, show office hours & specific riding times. 3. The show committee reserves the right to close the arena for maintenance at any time they deem necessary. 4. Every horse on the grounds (stabled or haul in) will be charged the $45 Show/Grounds Fee. 5. Warm Up arena will be available 24 hours per day from Wednesday after 4 pm, except for harrowing. 6. Show competitors only in Warm Up & Main arenas. 7. Stalls will be available Thursday morning at 7:00 am, and must be vacated no later than 9:00 pm Sunday. Those needing overnight stabling on Sunday call Julie at 604-799-2936 or 604-799-422, a new stabling facility very close to Heritage Park.. Bedding is included in stall fee. NOTE: For competitors traveling a long distance you must contact the show manager if you require stabling early on Wednesday, July 9th. 9. Competition arena will be open for riding beginning on Thursday following the completion of the paid warm-ups and following each day s classes. 10. Stalls must be booked with entries and are limited. Tack stalls are available on a first come first served basis. Additional stalls may not be available

Section G. Show Management: 1. All horses being ridden MUST be in full tack while on the grounds. Riding double, halter or bareback in NOT allowed. 2. No lunging in the show pen or the covered warm up pen. 3. Any concerns must be directed to the show representative s attention. 4. No mistreatment or abuse of a horse will be tolerated. 5. All competitors and spectators must conduct themselves in a sportsman like manner at all times. 6. Show management decisions will be final and binding. 7. West Coast Classic Show management reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule this event without notice at any time prior to the event and without liability to West Coast Classic or. Entry fees will be returned in the case of cancellation. Section H. Parking & RV: RV spots not available after until 4 pm on Wednesday, No Reservations & Not Assigned 1. RV/Trailer hookups are available at Chilliwack Heritage Park for $20.00 per night and include power only. All RV/Trailers using hookups will be required to display camping registration card (provided by show office) in a visible location during the show as proof of camping registration. 2. No fee for dry camping. 3. No piggy-backing of power! 4. Please park in designated parking areas only. Any vehicles parked in an un-authorized area will be moved at the owner s expense. 5. No vehicles or trailers are permitted to park for longer than 10 minutes to unload at the back of the stabling area. 6. RV locations are first come first served! Section I. General Information: 1. Website posting is for information purposes only and is considered draft only. In the case of a difference between the website and the show office, the show office information will be final. 2. All reining classes will be judged according to the 2015 rulebook except where designated as classes, which will be judged according to the 2015 rulebook. Where possible follows rules. All Champions and Reserve Champions must report to the photographer for sponsor photos. Section J. Draw: 1. Draws for Friday classes will be posted Thursday night, no later than :00 pm 2. Draws for Saturday classes will be posted Friday night, no later than :00 pm 3. Draws for Sunday classes will be posted Saturday night, no later than :00 pm 4. Scratches after the draw is posted will NOT be refunded Section K. Paid Warm Ups: 1. Paid warm ups are on a first pay, first serve basis. Limit of 2 per horse & only for horses that are competing Section L. Equipment: 1. Equipment must be used as stated in the & Rule Books, unless otherwise specified. See rule book at www.wcra.info. 2. After each work, bits will be dropped and viewed by the judge or designate. 3. Classes where running martingales are allowed, rein stoppers must be used. Section M. Animal and Bicycle/Scooter Control: 1. Dogs are to remain on leash and must be kept under control at all times. Please clean up after your dog and respect signs restricting access to outdoor areas and green spaces. Dogs can cause safety hazards. Please be attentive in high traffic areas 2. Bicycles or motorized scooters are not permitted anywhere in the indoor arenas or stabling areas

Sunday post entries will be at the end of the class. CLASS ELIGIBILITY DESCRIPTION For Complete description, refer to the Handbook. For Complete description, refer to Rule Book 1. Beginner A May be ridden 1 or 2 handed; running martingale optional (must be outfitted with rein stoppers); legal headgear; modified pattern with no lead changes. Must need Non Pro criteria, have not won a High Point Championship or Res. Championship in Beg A, Beg B, Beginner, Youth, or Beg Reiner Open, and have not ridden a horse to a Championship or Res. Championship in Beg Horse Open, nor competed in a class that required a non modified pattern to be ridden 1-handed. 2. Beginner Horse Open May be ridden 1- or 2handed; any -approved headgear; no running martingale. Open to horses that have less than $500 lifetime earnings in any type or class of reining competitions at the start of the year, regardless of ownership. 3a. Rookie Professional Youth and Non Pros are not eligible for this class. Open to any rider holding a valid General card who has not earned more than $2,500 in lifetime earnings, all categories, except 10,, & 12, at the start of the year.
