HUSKIE FOOTBALL Driving Directions Huskie Stadium 1245 Stadium Drive South DeKalb, IL 60115 From the West: NOTE I-90 and I-88 are toll roads and require exact change. From I-90: Follow the signs to I-39 south as you come around Rockford. Take I-39 south to SR 38 at Rochelle and head east toward DeKalb. The Convocation Center is on the north side of the road before you come to the DeKalb water tower. From I-88: Take Exit 92-Annie Glidden Road (toll) and go north two miles. From Glidden Rd. take SR 38 (Lincoln Highway) west to the Convocation Center entrance just west of the DeKalb water tower on the north side of the road. From the East: NOTE I-90 and I-88 are toll roads and require exact change. From I-90: Exit onto SR 47 South. Take SR 38 West approximately 15 miles to the far west side of DeKalb. The Convocation Center entrance is just west of the DeKalb water tower on the north side of the road. From I-88: Take Exit 92-Annie Glidden Road (toll) and go north two miles. From Glidden Rd. take SR 38 (Lincoln Highway) west to the Convocation Center entrance just west of the DeKalb water tower on the north side of the road. From the South: NOTE I-88 is a toll road and require exact change. From I-39: Exit I-39 to I-88 East. Travel I-88 East to Exit 92-Annie Glidden Road (toll) and go north two miles. From Glidden Rd. take SR 38 (Lincoln Highway) west to the Convocation Center just west of the DeKalb water tower on the north side of the road. From SR 23: Travel north to SR 38 (intersection of 4th St. and Lincoln Highway in DeKalb). Turn left (West) on SR 38 and continue to the far west side of DeKalb. The Convocation Center entrance is just west of the DeKalb water tower on the north side of the road. From the North From I-39: Exit I-39 to SR 38 at Rochelle and follow that east toward DeKalb. The Convocation Center is on the north side of the road before you come to the DeKalb water tower. From SR 23: Travel south to SR 38 (intersection of 4th St. and Lincoln Highway in DeKalb). HUSKIE FOOTBALL Fan and Individual Car Parking Information There are numerous lots to park in on Huskie Football game days. Please see www.niuhuskies.com for more information. Bus Drop-Off and Parking Information Visiting team buses will be met by a police escort upon arrival to DeKalb. NIU Police will lead the visiting team party to the appropriate place to park and unload. HUSKIE FOOTBALL Practices Any visiting team requests for practice time must be arranged at least one week prior to game day. Practices will not be allowed between 2:30 and 4:30pm. Please note that NIU does host high school football games throughout the fall and field availability may be limited. Please contact, Jen Clark, Assistant Director of Events, at 815.753.9590 or jaclark@niu.edu for any scheduling needs. Sideline Phones Teams have access to six (6) dry pairs (lines for headsets) and one (1) ring down phone. Coaches Box The visiting team box is located on Level 3 of the press box at Huskie Stadium. Visiting team coaches will be provided with eight (8) Coaches Box passes. Please be aware that space is very limited. Visiting Team Locker Room Unless otherwise notified, the visiting team locker room will be available at 5:00 pm the night prior to game day. Supplies Northern Illinois University will supply the following: 200 pounds of ice 5 cases of soft drinks Whiteboard Cups and coolers 75 game programs 2 treatment/taping tables 1 washtub for ice and towels 200 towels/soap for game day 1 pair of adjustable crutches General medical supplies 1 operating 4-pack hydro collator 1 chest of ice bags EMS, 2 general practitioners, 1 orthopedic surgeon and 1 X-ray technician Contaminated materials containers and/or sharp containers Other personal protective equipment (i.e. gloves) ~ 9 ~

Medical Information The following will be provided on the court during practices and games: water, cups, towels, ice bags and biohazard supplies. In addition, emergency equipment, including splint kit, crutches, spine board and AED are available on site. The nearest hospital is Kishwaukee Community Hospital located at: One Kish Hospital Drive DeKalb, IL 60115 (815) 756-1521 Visiting Team Radio Broadcast telephone lines in the press box are available through the ISP Northern Illinois Radio Network. The line can be utilized by the visiting team's official radio station on a reciprocal basis or for a nominal fee. Call the NIU Media Relations Office for more information on these lines. Video Lifts are located just outside the south end zone for recording game footage. The roof of the press box is reserved for recording side view game footage. If the game is televised, team cameras and TV will share these areas. For more information regarding filming the game, please contact Alex Krutsch, Graduate Assistant Coach, at 847.840.1833 or akrutsch1@niu.edu. Credentials Credentials must be worn at all times by staff, support staff and other members of the university travel party. The following credentials are provided for stadium access: Eight (8) Visiting AD passes (allows field access). Four (4) parking passes. Eight (8) Coaches Box passes. Forty (40) Sideline passes. Tickets Visiting team complimentary tickets and will call tickets will be available for pick up outside Entrance 1 on the west side of Huskie Stadium. The seat location for visiting fans is in Section A. A visiting university ticket representative must oversee the distribution of tickets. Huskie Stadium opens one and a half hours prior to kick off. ~ 10 ~

Equipment One equipment truck will be allowed to park directly outside the south entrance of the visiting team locker room.
