7 Facility NIU Convocation Center 1525 West Lincoln Highway Locker Room Visiting team locker rooms are located in the hallway adjacent to Victor E. Court. Typically, the visiting team locker room is 195B. Enter via the loading dock on the west side of the building and event staff personnel will direct you to the appropriate locker room. Towels and water will be supplied pre-game. Bottled water will be provided post-game. Bus Parking Buses should enter campus via the road just west of the main entrance of the Convocation Center. Drop off and bus parking is located at the loading dock on the west side of the Convocation Center. Practice Time Visiting teams will be assigned practice and shoot-around times in the Arena whenever possible. Alternate locations in Victor E. Court or other campus facilities will be discussed in the event of a facility conflict. Locker rooms and towels will be available only by advance request. Practice time on the day preceding a game is planned for 6-8 pm CST. Game day shoot-arounds are planned for 8-9 am on weekends and 12-1pm for weeknight games. Shoot-arounds in the Convocation Center Arena are not closed. Practice times must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Bench Assignment The visiting team will be seated on the bench east of (to the left as you face) the scorer s table. Towels, ice, water cooler and cups will be provided at the bench. Medical Information The following will be provided on the court during practices and games: water, cups, towels, ice bags and biohazard supplies. In addition, emergency equipment, including splint kit, crutches, spine board and AED are available on site. Mid-American Conference opponents will receive sixty (60) tickets. Non-conference opponents will receive sixty (60) tickets, unless otherwise specified in the contract. Tickets will be issued per NCAA Bylaw Complimentary admission via pass list, per NCAA Bylaw 16.2, for family members, relatives and friends designated by the student-athlete shall be through the first door of the main entrance, Entrance 2 of the Convocation Center. Photo ID and signature will be required for each ticket. Pass lists must be handed in at the loading dock entrance table upon arrival for game day. Laundry Please request laundry service in advance if needed by contacting Evan Klepec, Equipment Manager, Convocation Center, at eklepec@niu.edu or Emergency Information In the event of inclement weather the inner hallway on the lower level of the Convocation Center is the designated emergency shelter area. 5

Bench Assignments The visiting team will begin the match on the bench on the west end of Victor E. Court. 13 Facility NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex 325 Stadium Drive West Locker Room Visiting team locker rooms or meeting space will be available pre-game and post-game at Huskie Stadium upon request. Towels will also be provided for post-game showers. Bus Parking Buses should enter campus via the main entrance of the Convocation Center located west of the DeKalb water tower on Lincoln Highway (SR 38). Follow the drive to the right around curve. Main entrance to the Lot C2 is located at the northwest corner of the facility. Team buses may drop off players, coaches and equipment at NW field gate and proceed to park in the southeast corner of the lot. Practice Time Practice time at the NIU Soccer Complex may be available the day before competition based on NIU athletic schedules. Please request a window of 3-4 hours if practice time is required. Towels will be provided for post-game showers. Warm Up The courts will be available for warm ups one hour before the scheduled match. Bus/Van Parking Team vehicles should enter campus via Lincoln Highway (Rt. 38). Turn right on Stadium Drive West. Follow curve to the right and make immediate left to continue on Stadium Drive West. Turn right on Stadium Drive North. Buses and vans may park along Stadium Drive North or in Lot 31A, located directly south of the tennis courts. Please be aware of foul balls leaving the baseball field. Medical Information Water, cups, towels, ice bags, and biohazard supplies will be provided during practices and competition. The athletic trainer on site will also supply an AED, airway kit, spine board, splint bag, crutches and first aid kit. Towels will be provided for post-game showers. Bus Parking Busses should enter campus via Stadium Drive South from Lincoln Highway at the water tower. Take first left onto Stadium Drive West. Turn Right onto Stadium Drive North. Team busses may drop off players, coaches and equipment at NE field gate and proceed to park in Lot 31. It is recommended that busses park along the curb in front of the south main gates to Huskie Stadium. Officials Mid American Conference Officials are assigned by Rich Fetchiet. Non Conference Officials are assigned by Jim Mecha. Dugout Assignment The visiting team will occupy the 3rd base dugout. Towels, ice, a water cooler and cups will be provided. Medical Information Water, cups, towels, ice bags, and biohazard supplies will be provided during practices and competition. 20 DRIVING INFO Use either Interstate 90 when driving from the East or West; Interstate 39 when driving from the North or South. Both are toll roads that require exact change or IPass/EZ Pass. I-88, I-90, and I-294 are toll roads. Annie Glidden Road exit requires a $2.10 exact change only cash toll or IPass/EZ Pass are accepted. Peace Road exit requires a $1.50 exact change only cash toll or IPass/EZ Pass.
