THE EGYPTIAN ARABIAN PERFORMANCE HORSE AWARD PROGRAM HANDBOOK 2016 Competition Year The Pyramid Society s Egyptian Arabian Performance Horse Award Program (EAPHAP) is designed to recognize performance achievements of Straight Egyptian, Egyptian Sired, and Egyptian Bred horses in a variety of disciplines. This program offers awards based on points earned throughout the year in various performance competitions. Points are earned based on participation, competitive placement/scoring within a discipline with increased point allotments for championships, special recognition (high point awards or best condition--endurance), and for achievements at regional, national and FEI events. In addition to competition in Rated Shows, Schooling Shows (non-rated Shows) will also earn points towards awards. AWARDS Exclusive custom awards will be presented to the owners of the high point horses in each of the four competitive divisions. The highest scoring Straight Egyptian and Egyptian Sired/Bred horse in each division will also be honored for their achievement. A $100 Pyramid Society Gift Certificate will be awarded to the highest scoring Pyramid Society member owned horse in each division. A Versatility Award will be presented to the horse that competes in two or more divisions and receives the highest combined score. Breeders of the four divisional winners and the Versatility Award winner will also be recognized. Awards will be presented at the 2017 Egyptian Event and winners will also be featured in: o The Egyptian Arabian Performance Horse Award Program Booth at The Event o The Egyptian Event Show Program o The Pyramid Society s E-Newsletter, The Chariot o On The Pyramid Society s website and o In The Pyramid Society s Yearbook. ELIGIBILITY Participation in this program is FREE and Pyramid Society membership is NOT required for owners of enrolled horses.
