All cheerleaders will be placed on teams that we feel will not only be best suited for the athlete, but will also create the most competitive teams possible. All teams at Tumble Tech will be created based on skill, age, and the position needed for each team. Please keep in mind that tumbling isn t all that is required to be placed on a specific level. All athletes should come prepared the first day with all the required paperwork, evaluation payment, and first months installment. If you do not show up to the first practice your money will be refunded minus the tryout fee. No athlete will be allowed to participate without all required forms and monies collected. Evaluation Information A Tumble Tech colored shirt or tank (black, blue or white) should be worn each day of evaluations and female athletes must also wear their hair up in a bow. We also recommend that female athletes wear the proper undergarments (a sports bra and spandex) underneath their clothes. Athletes will be evaluated in groups and asked to demonstrate jumps, motions, tumbling, and stunting. All evaluations are closed to spectators. Monthly Cost All cheerleaders will be on an 11 month payment plan. First installment will be due the first day of tryouts. After team placement, if you decide not to continue with the program your May installment will be refunded minus the tryout fee. 2017-2018 Pricing Info Your monthly fees are the cost for your athlete to cheer all season broken into month payments. Your Monthly Payment Includes: Gym fee: All practices, 1 free tumbling class per week, 50% of additional tumbling classes. Competition fee: All registration fees for competitions. Choreography/Music fee: Routine choreography, dance choreography, motion and filler choreography, music mixing and changes throughout the year. 2017-2018 Practice and Attendance Policy All practices are mandatory! Over the summer there will be no weekend practices, you are expected to be in attendance during the summer. This is the only way to excel as a team and progress throughout the season in preparation for choreography. Summer vacations will be dealt with on an individual basis. Please turn in an ABSENTEE REQUEST FORM at least 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO ABSENCE. The only excused absence during competitive cheer season will be absences for a grade in school, death in the family, family emergency or illness with a doctor s note. It is extremely important that no child miss unless the absence is excused. This will be the only way for our teams to progress throughout the season. The following absences are not acceptable during the season. School dance, powder puff games, movies, concerts, or school activities that are not for a grade, birthdays, vacations, and family gatherings. Please be on time to practice. When you are late, the entire team is held up for you. We know life happens, and sometimes you just can t help it, but if you are on time the majority of the time, we will be more understanding when you are not. Please contact the gym if your child is going to be late. Vacations: Tumble Tech is trying to encourage all families that have not yet planned summer vacation to do so in the month of July. Preferably June 25 th - July 9 th when the gym is closed. This way we can focus the majority of the summer on team progression. We ask that all families vacation only during the days the gym are closed and summer months. If they are in town they must attend practice over the summer. If you cannot arrange your vacations during these times of the year, please e-mail us ASAP so we can discuss your options. Tumble Tech Allstars Program Rules 2017-2018 1. No jewelry (including body jewelry) during practice or at competition. 2. Please abide by the gym s dress code for practices, outside activities (fundraisers, etc.) and competition. Each child must wear the appropriate practice uniform, if the practice outfit is forgotten each child must be supplied with a new one at practice and the cost will be billed to your account the following month. 3. Cell phones and electronics must be put away and turned off during practice. If your child cannot stay off their phone it will be placed in the office till the end of practice. 4. Please do not leave any personal items on the competition floors or in the gym. Any valuables should be left at home or with a parent or guardian. The gym is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. 5. All female cheerleaders must wear spandex AND sports bra at all times. 6. Hair must be secured up and completely out of the face during practice and competition. 7. Punctuality is required for every practice and outside activities. Please always be on time and prepared. You must arrive at all practices, competitions or any scheduled event on time. 8. Profanity or abusive language is not permitted by cheerleaders at any time. Respect all fellow cheerleaders, team coaches and adults at all times. 9. NEVER post any negative comments on any social media or websites. 10. No one is allowed to post Tumble Tech Allstars music, choreography, routines, stunts, etc. on any websites without permission from TTA Owners. 11. No one is allowed to yell onto the floor or try to make contact through the parent viewing area during practices or tumble classes. THIS IS EXTREMELY DISTRACTING TO ALL INVOLVED. 12. The coaches reserve the right to close practices. AT ANY TIIME FOR ANY REASON.
13. NO GOSSIP! No gossip about any other teams (allstar or school), NO GOSSIP about another child on your team or another team. NO GOSSIP about Coaches and/or Staff. 14. Each cheerleader has been evaluated on their skills to be on this team, and the skills are expected to continue on that level or improve throughout the season. If they cannot maintain their skills they may be moved to a more level appropriate team. 15. Every year we go through losses and addition of team members. The dismissal/ addition of a team member is solely the coach s decision. 16. Any child/parent/guardian threatening to quit or pull their child from a squad will be dismissed from the program immediately. 17. Practice days may be changed or additional practices may be added at any time during the season. 18. Parents, cheerleaders, and coaches must represent themselves and TT in an appropriate manner. There is a zero tolerance policy in effect towards fighting, alcohol, drugs and any other activities that are unfavorable to our program. 19. It is the parent/ guardian s responsibility to know what is going on with your child s squad. Please check your emails regularly. 20. All practices are mandatory for all cheerleaders. With the exception of emergencies, which include death in the family, contagious illness with a doctor s note or an approved school function. 21. Home work is not an acceptable excuse for missing practice. Withholding a child from a practice or competition should never be used as a form of punishment. If your child is missing practice, it affects the entire squad. 22. Approaching a coach in the middle of practice is not an appropriate time to discuss any matters. Please feel free to email any concerns or contact a coach before or after practice. 23. Parents, relatives, friends and cheerleaders are NEVER allowed to speak with competition officials at any time, for any reason. 24. Parents are never allowed to represent Tumble Tech Allstars under any circumstances concerning accommodations, competitions or any other situation.
25. If a problem arises between you and a teammate or another parent, the problem will be addressed with all parties involved in a meeting with your coach and the owners. 26. If you have a problem/concern please be prepared to give all names involved so we can resolve the entire problem. If you are not willing to do so, we will not be willing to address the problem. 27. All balances must be kept up to date. Tuition is due 1 st practice every month. Failure to pay the tuition on time will result in a $15.00 late fee. Late fees will be applied to your account on the 10 th day of each month. NO EXCEPTIONS! 28. There will be no refunds made to anyone that is asked to leave the program or quits a team. This includes all monthly fees. 2017-2018 Tumble Tech Allstars Medical Liability/Treatment Release/Media Release and Assumption of Risk Participants Name: I for myself and on behalf of my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns personal representative and estate, hereby voluntarily waive, release, forever discharge, absolve, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify TUMBLE TECH ALLSTARS, LLC (TTA) and all officers, directors, and personnel, jointly and separately, from any and all activities or any claim, liability, demand, actions or rights of action, which are related to, arise out of, or any way connected with my child s participation in TTA- related activities and as follows: 1. I, the parent or legal guardian of the above named child, hereby gives my approval to participate in any/all cheerleading/ tumbling activities. I understand and acknowledge the fact that participation in sporting activities involves some degree of risk and the activities that I or my child engage in while on the premises or under the auspices of TUMBLE TECH ALLSTARS, LLC pose known and unknown risks which could result in injury, paralysis, death, emotional distress or damage to me, my child, to property or to third parties. The following describes some but not all of the risks: Cheerleading and gymnastics, including performances of stunts and the use of trampolines, entail certain risks that simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity. Without a certain degree of risk, cheerleading students would not improve their skills and the enjoyment of the sport would be diminished. Cheerleading and gymnastics expose participants to the usual risk of cuts, bruises and other more serious risks as well. Participants often fall, sprain or break wrists or ankles, and can suffer more serious injuries. Traveling to and from shows, meets, and exhibitions raises the possibilities of any manner of transportation accidents. In any event, you or your child is injured, medical assistance may be required which you must pay for yourself. 2. Should TTA be required to pay attorney s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and reimburse them for such fees and costs. 3. In the event that I file a lawsuit against TTA, I agree to do so solely in the State of Florida and I further agree that the substantive and procedural laws in that state shall apply in any such action without the conflicts of laws rules thereof. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. 4. I, the parent or legal guardian, of the above named child do hereby grant consent to full authority for the rendering of assistance, care and treatment of the above named child under any circumstances which shall reasonably be deemed an emergency, including without limitations: 1) I give permission to the coaches and all other persons of authority to administer first aid to the above named child, and 2) I give permission to have the above named child transported by ambulance, police or private vehicle to a hospital or dentist office if deemed necessary by the coaches or persons of authority, and 3) I do hereby authorize the treatment of the above named child by a licensed doctor or dentist and/or hospital personnel, including without limitations any examinations, care, treatment, anesthetics, operations and/or diagnostic procedures as may be deemed necessary. 4) I give permission to Tumble Tech Allstars LLC staff to distribute pain relief medication to my child, according to the recommended dose as labeled on the medicine bottle. 5. I hereby release any photos and/or video footage of the above named child that may be taken during any of our participation with TUMBLE TECH ALLSTARS, LLC. I further understand such footage will be in good taste. I also give permission for such footage to be used on TTA websites and social networking sites. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read it and understand it. I agree to be bound by its terms. All-Star Team Agreement Form I understand the expectations of my coaches and Tumble Tech All Stars. I also understand the rules governing this program and agree to abide by them. I realize there are consequences for not adhering to the policies, including dismissal from the team. The dismissal will be at the discretion of the coaches and management. I will respect my coaches, teammates and other team members at all times. I will refrain from using inappropriate language at practice or any other team event. As an athlete, I will avoid using drugs, alcohol or tobacco at all times. I understand that I may be removed from the team for breaking any of these rules. I agree to represent Tumble Tech All Stars in a positive manner at all times. I will not post inappropriate content or photos on any online tool (Facebook, Etc.). I will be a positive role model at all times for my teammates, whether younger or older, and will adhere to the uniform policies for competitions, performances and practices as set forth by my coach/director. I understand that the entire team suffers when one member is missing and will do my best to get my child to all practices and events. I will not pull my child from practice, competition or performance due to failing grades or to get caught up on homework. I will work with the coach/director to create a plan of action, should my child s grades drop, as opposed to benching him/her without notice. Should I choose to remove my child from the team due to grades, I will give ample time for the coach to replace my child in the routine, and will continue to allow my child to practice and/or perform until such time the coach/director clears them to leave the team. I understand I will not receive any refunds. I understand that cheerleading is an inherently dangerous sport, and as such, I release and indemnify Tumble Tech All Stars, its directors and staff from all liability should my child become injured before, during or after practices or any other team related event. I also understand the fees associated with the team, and agree to pay them as indicated above, plus any other fees that may be announced throughout the course of the season. Parental Pledge and Code of Conduct I shall show respect and support to all coaches and staff at all times. I understand that the staff and coaches have my child s best interest in mind and will act in the best interest of the child and team. I will remember that children participate to have fun and that teams are for kids not adults. I will not coach from the sidelines or tell coaches or staff how to perform their jobs. I will abide by the rulings of the coaches/directors and competition coordinators during practices, competitions and performances. I will never question or confront them during a practice, competition or performance, but instead will setup an appointment to meet with the gym owners/directors, or will send my thoughts via e-mail or a letter. I will be a positive role model for my child, encouraging sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy to all team members, coaches, other parents, and other gyms. I will demand that my child treats all teammates, coaches and other teams with respect. Speaking negatively about another teammate, gym or coach is not acceptable behavior. I will be mindful of my role at all times, and will not coach from the sideline or from home unless instructed to do so by the team coach/director. I will teach my child that doing ones best is more important winning so that my child will never feel defeated by the outcome of a competition or performance.
