Saturday 26th January 2019 Scrutineering Time Trials, Two rounds of Qualifying Heats, Preliminary B Main 15 Laps (16 cars, First 4 transfer) and Preliminary A Main 25 Laps (14 cars + 4 from Prelim B) Sunday 27th January 2019 Night 2 Final round of Qualifying Heats 72 Cars E Main 10 Laps 14 cars first 2 Transfer D Main 12 Laps 14 cars + 2 from E First 2 transfer C Main 15 Laps 14 cars + 2 from D First 4 transfer B Main 20 Laps 14 cars + 4 from C First 4 transfer A Main Championship Final 40 Laps 16 cars + 4 from B Rain Date (If required) Monday 28th January 2019 Eligibility Criteria: Only Australian Residents/Citizens are eligible* to compete in the Australian Sprintcar Championship who hold a current SCCA licence and have competed in a minimum of five meetings in the 12 months prior with a minimum of three meetings in the current season before the event SCCA Registered State Club in the current season and that the Club Chief Steward deems them to be of a standard eligible to compete in the Australian Sprintcar Championship. *Final eligibility to be determined by the SCCA Executive.

Drivers to be seeded into groups. Meeting Format The Seeding panel to be 3 or 4 people, including SCCA executive members and at least one person from the host state. Drivers are to be ranked into four levels. Level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4. Night One Time Trials in groups, 2 Rounds of Heats, Preliminary B and Preliminary A-Mains. Time Trials Heat Group Time Trials - preferably a maximum of 12 cars per group, subject to nominations received. This can be to extended to a maximum of 14 cars if required. Time Trial and Heat Points: 22, 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, DNF to score zero points. First Round of Heats: Time Trial Group 1 will then form Heat race 1, Time Trial group 2, Heat 2 etc, with an 8 or 10 car inversion subject to number of cars per heat. Second Round of Heats: Stay in same heat group, with fastest time from Time Trials to the front (heads up) Tied Points Tied points will be separated by a merge of the time trials Preliminary B Main: 16 cars, 15 Laps Point-scorers 15th through 30th to contest Preliminary B. First 4 to transfer to Preliminary A Main. Preliminary B Points from 5th position: 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Preliminary A Main: 18 cars, 25 Laps Point-scorers 1 through 14 to contest Preliminary A, plus first 4 from Preliminary B. Preliminary A Points: 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13 Night Two Maximum of top 72 cars in points to contest Night 2. Third Round of Heats: Final round of heats with a 6 car inversion from night one total points. Qualification for tow money, is by the Residential Address of the car owner (Proof of residence must be supplied with nomination) Tasmania water money to attend the Australian Title to be a maximum of $2500 total and to be divided equally to all Tasmanian cars attending to a maximum of $750/car. Tow Money is calculated from the nearest capital city of state of residence to the Title Venue. Tow money and contingency prize will only be paid/awarded to cars that have correctly nominated by the close of nominations and are not resident in the State where the Championship is conducted. Tow money will be paid by EFT after the event has concluded. Formalities and Procedures Entering Restricted Areas. Every driver, official and crewmember will be required to sign a Release and Indemnity agreement at the nominated Sign On area. Track officials will fit a wristband to the person after the Indemnity has been signed. No wrist band, no entry to any Restricted Area. Any person found not wearing a wristband would be asked to leave the Restricted Area. Driver plus two (2) insured crew will be admitted to the Pit area each night free of charge. All free pass holders must be insured. Archerfield Speedway, agrees to accept any personal insurance cover which meets or exceeds their minimum requirements being:

a) Capital Benefits of $100,000 for senior drivers b) Capital Benefits of $30,000 for junior drivers c) Weekly Benefits of $800 for senior drivers d) Ambulance Benefit of $5,000 e) Non-Medicare expenses Benefit of $5,000 f) Rehabilitation benefit of $20,000 g) No exclusions for motor racing activity h) APRA approved insurer. Archerfield Speedway s insurance minimum requirements will be made available to every driver, official and crewmember upon request. All people entering the pit area will follow the Archerfield Speedway Pit Rules (available on the track website) Accredited SCCA Inc. officials, only as notified to the Promoter prior to the Championship, will be admitted to the Pit area each night free of charge. Private accredited officials vehicles may be parked at the rear of the pit area. The pit gate is not open to children. Drivers bringing their families are warned there is to be no pit crews under the age of 16* years in the pits. The promoter retains the right to inspect all vehicles entering the pits, i.e. enclosed trailers, transporters etc. Any driver refusing such permission will be refused entry to the pits. No glass will be allowed into the grounds. *Children 12 to 15yrs will be admitted if they have a current Speedway Australia Card. All cars entered in the Australian Sprintcar Championship will be checked for roll cage and chassis wall thickness (w.t.) before any racing commences, using ultrasonic test equipment. Drivers/Teams may request to have engines checked and sealed at the commencement of the Australian Sprintcar Championship and before the commencement of any racing. Should engine be changed or the seal broken for any reason during the running of the event then the engine is to be measured again. A cylinder number will be randomly selected on the day for engine measurement. Competitors that wish to have their engines sealed, will be required to remove the pushrods or rocker arms from that cylinder for engine measurement. Engines being tested must be presented with the front valley cover bolts and leading edge of valley manifold suitably drilled for application of engine seal. Engines of the top four place getters will be measured that do not have an authorised SCCA seal attached. Other cars will be measured at the discretion of the chief steward. No points will be awarded to drivers not taking the chequered flag in their heats. Non-finishers will be awarded points where they fall out in feature events only. The Championship field will be limited to the Sprintcars that qualify plus the defending Championship holder if he/she doesn't qualify. After the Championship field is decided the next two highest point scorers will be reserves if required in a complete re-run. Championship race distance will be 40 laps. The Promoters shall make provisional Trophy presentations immediately after the place getters cars have been weighed. In the event of a dispute or failure to meet the engine specification, the results and trophy presentation may be amended. Trophies will be retained by the SCCA Inc. after the presentations if a dispute is formally and correctly lodged. TROPHIES FIRST THREE PLACEGETTERS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP

2019 AUSTRALIAN SPRINTCAR CHAMPIONSHIP NOMINATION FORM to be completed ONLINE at http://nominations.speedway.net.au Conditions of Entry 1. Only Australian Residents/Citizens are eligible* to compete in the Australian Sprintcar Championship who hold a current SCCA licence and have competed in a minimum of five meetings in the 12 months prior with a minimum of three meetings in the current season prior to the event and that the Club Chief Steward deems them to be of a standard eligible to compete in the Australian Sprintcar Championship. *Final eligibility to be determined by the SCCA Executive. 2. The 2019 Australian Sprintcar Championship will be conducted under the current Racing Rules, Regulations and Specifications of SCCA Inc. and any vehicle that does not comply shall be excluded. 3. Driver plus two (2) crew with current Speedway Australia cards will be admitted to the pits each night free of charge. Those that do not have a current Speedway Australia card will incur an additional surcharge of $10. 4. Please forward, with your entry, a photo of your car and a head and shoulder shot of the driver. Good photos will be considered for the Souvenir Program. 5. Entries must be completed online (at the website above) and paid no later than Saturday 22 December 2018. Nomination fee is $240. Late Entries - An additional fee of $100 will apply to all entries received after Saturday 22 December 2018. The SCCA Inc. reserves the right to refund nomination fees. The SCCA Inc. will consider a refund, on the proviso that the reason/s for not competing be in writing, to the SCCA Inc. Secretary at least twenty one days prior to the first day of the Championship. 6. Acceptance of late entries will depend on vacancies in the field. 7. No travel money will be paid to cars nominating after Saturday 22 December 2018. All competitors are subject to the supplementary regulations of the event. The SCCA in consultation with Archerfield Speedway reserves the right to change the supplementary regulations. Any change or changes to the supplementary regulations will be notified at the drivers meeting prior to commencing the event. This may include formats and prize monies.
