Official Fiesta Bowl Pom & Cheer Entry CHEER SQUADS - Fee: $10.00 per person Cheer squads must have a minimum of four (4) participants. Small cheer squads have four to eight (4-8) members. Large cheer squads have nine (9) or more members. Squads are allowed to perform any number of cheers and chants. The time limit, from the first vocal command to the squads exit, must not exceed three (3) minutes. Any group that is :15 seconds overtime will be disqualified. NO MUSIC ALLOWED. Attach list of participants and grade level (ie. 7th, 8th, 9th grade) to entry form. Entries without list of participant s names and grade level will not be accepted. NBTA Rules will govern all baton twirling events. Cheerleading by the Rules by the National Federation of High School Association will govern all pom & cheer events. A copy of these rules can be obtained by calling 602-385-3810. DCI & WGI Rules will govern all flag events. All contestants must wear tennis or soft sole shoes on gym floor. Event T-shirts, shorts and souvenir patches will be on sale. A snack bar will be provided all day. No smoking in the gym. General Information An official photographer will be available on Saturday (coaches receive Free squad photo). Adult admission is $8.00 and includes one official souvenir program per family. No flash pictures-video cameras may be used to film only your own squad or child. Download additional entries at: www.arizonatwirlingathletes.com Awards Photos of 1 st place winners will appear in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl program. 2-$500 Scholarships awarded by the NFF and College Hall of Fame to a Sr. contestant participating on a competing squad & one member of their pep band. Winning Spiritline/Pom or Cheer Squad will be selected to perform at the National Football Foundation luncheon on Dec. 17 th along with their school pep band. High School & Junior High squad winners, runner-ups and selected solo winners will perform in the televised Fiesta Bowl Parade at 11 /AM on Jan 2, 2016. Sweepstakes Trophy will be awarded in three categories for the school accumulating the most points in solo & squad events will be awarded in Pom & Cheer, Flag & Dance and Twirl Competitions. Trophies, medals and ribbons will be awarded to 1st - 5th place solo & duets. Banner, flowers and crown to 35th Annual Fiesta Bowl Model Queens & Solo Twirl. $50.00 Cash Award and flowers for High Point Twirler in Jr. (12 & under) and Sr. (13+) divisions & Solo Pom and Cheer Grand Champions. 1 st Place trophies & Fiesta Bowl medals will be awarded to Pom / Cheer and Flag / Dance Team Squad Winners. 2 nd -3 rd Place trophies will also be awarded to the above Squads and Teams.
