About the Foundation Adding Tomorrows Every Day The CF Foundation is the world s leader in the search for a cure for CF. The Foundation funds more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support. Breakthrough treatments have added years to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis. Today the median predicted survival age is close to 40. This is a dramatic improvement from the 1950s, when a child with CF rarely lived long enough to attend elementary school. Because of tremendous advancements in research and care, many people with CF are living long enough to realize their dreams of attending college, pursuing careers, getting married and having kids. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care. Through dramatic improvements in treatment and care, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is adding tomorrows for people with the disease. We are proud of our achievements, but we still have much to do as we search for a cure. The funds raised through this golf outing help our mission: to cure CF, and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care. Please join us in this journey. While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. With fundraising events like this, we are able to fund additional progress in the cure for cystic fibrosis.

Please contact Lisa Fero at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation using the information below! Phone: (262) 798-2060 Email: lfero@cff.org IMPORTANT NOTE ON ATTENDANCE AT FOUNDATION EVENTS: To reduce the risk of getting and spreading germs at CF Foundationsponsored events, we ask that everyone follow basic best practices by regularly cleaning your hands with soap and water or with an alcoholbased hand gel, covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your inner elbow and maintaining a safe 6-foot distance from anyone with a cold or infection. Medical evidence shows that germs may spread among people with CF through direct and indirect contact as well as through droplets that travel short distances when a person coughs or sneezes. These germs can lead to worsening symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To further help reduce the risk of cross-infection, the Foundation s attendance policy recommends inviting only one person with CF to attend the indoor portion of a Foundation-sponsored event at a specific time. For the outdoor portion, the Foundation recommends that all people with CF maintain a safe 6-foot distance from each other at all times. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has unrestricted financial reserves of about 13 times its budgeted annual expenses, following a one-time royalty sale in 2014. These funds, along with the public s continuing support, are needed to help accelerate our efforts to pursue a lifelong cure for this fatal disease, develop lifesaving new therapies and help all people with CF live full, productive lives.
