Liberty is unbeaten at Liberty Baseball Stadium, this season. The Flames swept Maine to run their home mark to 7-0, this past weekend. Liberty outscored Maine, 17-3, over their three-game series, this past weekend. The Flames struck out 28 Black Bears during the series. Last season, the Flames and Hokies each played met twice, winning on each other's field. The Flames edged the Hokies 4-3 in Blacksburg on March 27th while the Hokies defeated Liberty in Lynchburg 11-5. The Flames will wrap-up a four game homestand on Tuesday after hosting Maine and Virginia Tech. The sophomore had a big day on Sunday, with three hits, two doubles and two RBI. Wagner enters the week fourth in the ASUN Conference with a.447 batting average. Tyler Galazin had five hits for the Flames, driving in two runs and scoring four runs, this past weekend. Galazin is one of three Flames to start all 11 games this season. Cam Locklear walked in the bottom of the seventh inning with the bases loaded and two outs, collecting the game-winning RBI in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader win over Maine. Locklear had four RBI and a.500 on base percentage in the Maine series. LF Brandon Rohrer had a hit in each of game of Liberty's series with Maine, this past weekend. On Sunday, freshman Gray Betts entered the contest as a pinch hitter in the fourth and took over in left field, collecting his first collegiate hit later in the game. Betts also walked and was hit by a pitch, scoring twice. CF Jaylen Guy reached base three times in Sunday's 7-1 win over Maine and scored twice. Guy leads the Flames with four stolen bases. RF Ayden Karraker has started all 11 games for the Flames in right field, this season. The senior had a career-long four-game hitting streak earlier this season. DH On Sunday, Logan Mathieu served as the designated hitter for the first time in 2019 and tied the program record by drawing four walks.
