Camera #3 Thank you. Today s weather will have showers in the morning. then cloudy in the afternoon and a high of 76 degrees with winds of 5 to 10 mile per hour.
Camera #3 The last day to audition for the annual CJMS Talent Show will be held this Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 3:10 to 4:20 PM in the CJMS cafeteria.
Camera #3 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are all welcome to audition. Please go to the Talent Show webpage on the CJMS website to find out how to signup for an audition slot and for more information.

The Green Team / Environmental Club will hold its first meeting Tuesday, October 6 th in room 1201 after school from 3:05-4:10pm.
The club is open to ALL 6 th, 7 th, and 8 th graders and students who join will earn SSL hours for helping the school community. For more information see Mrs. Hinkle or Ms. Lynn in rooms 1201 and 1141.
While the Empire would most likely be displeased, Star Wars Reads Day, a celebration of a galaxy far, far away and the joy of reading, is back.
Star Wars Reads Day is held on October 10, 2015. The new Star Wars books will be in the Cabin John Media Center soon. Be sure to check one out when they arrive.
Attention all student writers! Montgomery College would like to invite you to a special one-day writing program interested in developing their skills as authors.
The program, A Day of Writing with Authors is a unique opportunity for students to interact with published authors and develop their own writing abilities.
The program will take place on Saturday, October 17 in Rockville. If interested, see Mr. Brandt at PRIDE in room 2107.
