Schedule of Events CLASS 1 Individual Open to All To be judged as separate sections Class 1a is Prelim 14 (2006). Class 1b is Novice 27 (2007) Class 1c is Elementary 44 (2002). There are no restrictions on either the horse or the rider for this class Rosettes will be awarded according to entries CLASS 2 Teams /Individuals Non-Qualifier Friendly The team competition is for riding club members in teams of 4, with the best 3 scores to count The team may be seniors, juniors or a mix of senior and 1 junior member There is no eligibility restriction for either riders or horses One member of each team will ride Prelim 13 (2006). One member of each team will ride Novice 28 (2008). One member of each team will ride Novice 34 (2009) One member of each team will ride Elementary 42 (2008) There will also be an individual competition for all of the tests with no requirement to be part of a team. Individuals may enter one test as part of a team and also enter another test as an individual entry All team members will also be entered for the nonqualifying individual competition for the test they are riding No competitor in Class 1 or 2 can ride the same test as they are entered for in Class 3 or 4 but can ride any other test Rosettes will be awarded according to entries

CLASS 5 - Individual Qualifier for Seniors
CLASS 6 Individual Qualifier for Juniors For both Class 5 and 6; Individuals may choose to ride one or both of Medium 71 (2002) or Advanced Medium 90 (2012) but the class will be judged as one competition Eligibility for each test will be as described in the BRC Rule Book CR Appendix 2 & 3 Prelim entries must be made to BRC at least 21 days prior to the competition. Declaration sheets must be complete and handed to the secretary before the first rider does their test. Flu vaccination records for the horse must be presented to the sec prior to competitors riding their test Rosettes will be awarded to the first 6 individuals. Entry Fees and Closing Date: 60 per dressage team, 15 per individual. Entries for teams and qualifiers to be made on the BRC area entry form by post and cheque or scanned and e mailed to allison@ridingclub.org.uk and payment to be made by BACS transfer to Ardingly RC. Entries for class 1 can be made on www.ridingclub.org.uk CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: Saturday 9 th March 2019. No entries will be accepted over the telephone or without payment. Withdrawals/Team Changes should be made by email before Friday 15 th and thereafter on the day to the secretary. Starting Times: Times will be published on the Ardingly Riding Club web site www.ridingclub.org.uk from 18.00 on Friday 15 th March
General Rules & Conditions of Entry 1. All entries are accepted only upon the terms of the general rules and conditions. The competition will be run under the BRC Official Rules 2019. A copy of the BRC Rule Book is available from the BHS bookshop and will be available on the day. Only tack acceptable under these rules will be permitted. Your signature on the entry form shall be deemed to be an acceptance of the rules and conditions. 2. The judges decisions are final. Objections, accompanied by a 20 deposit must be made in writing to the organiser within 15 minutes of the incident. The deposit will be forfeit if the objection is not sustained. In the event of cancellation of this event 2 shall be retained from each competitor to cover administrative expenses. 4. Health & Safety The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. 5. Disclaimer of Liability Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the British Horse Society, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
6. Protective Headgear Everyone mounted, whether competing or not, must wear a hard hat with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. ALL Competitors must have their hats tagged before riding. 7. All stallions must wear a stallion disc 8. Any competitors who are not members of an affiliated riding club must have their own public liability insurance. 9. All lorries and trailers must be parked in an orderly fashion in the designated parking areas only and the gate to the lorry park kept closed. Do not muck out your box in the lorry park. No horses/ponies to be tied up to the side of boxes. 10. No dogs allowed at the showground 11. Equine Influenza Certificate all competitors in the Riding Club Qualifiers must have an up to date Equine Influenza Certificate, which must, under penalty of elimination, accompany the horse to this competition and the competitor is responsible for producing it on demand. 12. Helpers. Any area 13 club entering a team (junior or senior) to provide two helpers please, able to help for the morning or afternoon.
