PARTNERSHIP Character development in the education of your son Football is counter-world and counter-cultural Playing time does not correlate with success It is the coaching staff s responsibility to develop each player to be the best they can be. As parents, we ask you trust the coaching staff and provide positive, PRODUCTIVE, and encouraging feedback to your sons. We all are on the same page and want each young man to develop their skills mentally, physically, and spiritually, to aid them on their path toward manhood As a parent, you can set the tone on your player s coachability and attitude. Encourage your son to effectively communicate. While we do understand that you may not always agree with the coaching staff, plays called, or playing time; we will require good communication and teamwork modeled between all parties.

WEIGHT ROOM We offer a collegiate-style strength and conditioning program that includes: dynamic strength, strength endurance, core strength, functional strength, plyometrics, lateral speed development, linear speed development, and nutrition education. Strength training and conditioning is not just important as a football player, but rather as an athlete as a whole. Athletes should strive to improve their strength and speed not just show up and go through the motions. Injury Prevention!!

WEIGHT ROOM ATTENDANCE Strength and conditioning attendance is highly encouraged, not only for a player s development, but also to develop camaraderie. We are here to help develop, strengthen, and improve each athlete s chances for success regardless of sport played. Please make attendance, attitude, and effort a positive priority. Battle to Bond player acceptance and respect. Technique Days.

MULTI-SPORT & BEING A CHAMPION Play as many THHS sports as possible, as long as possible. Sanctioned Sports, Club Sports Compete! Cross Train! Communicate! Communicate! Communicate! Be A Champion! It is a choice, it is a lifestyle! 90%+ were multi-sport athletes, that is not by accident.

ANNUAL CALENDAR Tonight you will receive a copy of the 2019 THHS Football Calendar next week. Please take note a few changes will be coming as we finalize summer 7-on-7 dates. Moving forward, you will receive a calendar in late December every year with the details for the entire year. We take the time to detail out EVERYTHING for an entire year. Please utilize the calendar when booking vacations, college trips, as well as to also know your son s football expectations.

RECRUITING I have meetings with all players who wish to go on to play in college I have meetings with players and their parents about the process, what to expect, what they need to do Hudl highlight videos Many established collegiate relationships Will have a recruiting presentation available on our THHS website shortly Statistics!! Mass marketing and mailing lists vs. ACTUAL recruiting The level your son is receiving active recruitment is most often the level college coaches feel he can play. This is NOT determined by myself, the THHS coaching staff, parents, or the player himself. Each year the collegiate needs differ as well as competition within the national class per position.
