Seniors: This Friday, October 27 th please report to the gym at 10:40 AM for a presentation from Matt Langley, with Midwest Grads on graduation supplies, including cap and gowns. Mr. Langley will return on Thursday, November 2 nd to pick up packets and measure for cap and gowns. THERE IS STILL TIME TO JOIN THE FUN! Attention all teams, groups and clubs. There is still time to sign up for a trunk for the third annual Trunk or Treat event. Trunk or Treat will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 3:00-5:00 in the west parking lot. Show off your creative side or go simple! There will be a $50 prize for the best youth trunk!!! Contact Shasta Pentico at shastapentico@yahoo.com to sign up. Hope to see you all at this "Spook-tacular" event!! State football playoff t-shirts can be picked up beginning Friday morning before school in the athletic director s office. Cost is $9.00. Please bring your money and pick them up tomorrow! State Softball Championship Clothing information sheet is attached. The deadline is Friday, November 10 th to Dave Brabec. Bishop Neumann will play at Norfolk Catholic in the first round of the playoffs on Friday October 27 th. Game time is 7:00p.m. No passes will be accepted. All faculty and students must pay.

Adults - $7.00. Students - $5.00. Friday, October 27th: Bishop Neumann at Norfolk Catholic in the opening round of the Class C-1 Playoffs. The game will be on 106 KIX & 106KIX.com starting with the pregame show at 6:20. Kickoff at 7:00 (marti) The Student Council is sponsoring a Halloween dance for the junior high! When: Saturday, October 28 th, 8:00pm - 10:00pm (Doors will open at 7:30pm and close at 8:00pm) Where: St. Wenceslaus Gym Cost: $2 if you wear a Halloween costume, $3 if you wear jeans Dress Code: Students who wear a costume should dress modestly and appropriately. Students who do not wear a costume must wear jeans following the rules in the hand book for jean days. Other: Bring extra money to purchase drinks; Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes! Once you have signed in at the dance you will only be able to leave before the end of the dance if you are picked up by your parents. No phone calls or notes from parents are accepted as permission to leave the dance early. All students must list a parent s phone number in case of emergencies. Make sure you have transportation arranged following the dance. If you have any questions please speak with a Student Council member or Mr. Waldman. Campus Ministry will meet at Lake Wanahoo this Sunday evening, October 29 th, at 6:00 for a Rosary walk and bonfire. Meet on the east side of the lake at the free parking area near the white house with the red barn. Supper will be provided. This is the last call for your $5.00 dues. They can be turned in to Mrs. Kenney at school or on Sunday at the bonfire. Cross Country uniforms can be checked Monday and Tuesday during the access period in the gym. All uniforms should be checked in at this time. Coach Johnson. Due to extra phone calls and emails this week we are extending the registration for Cavalry summer softball 2018 to the end of October. Deadline to have registration forms turned in is now October 31, 2017. The School Sisters of Christ the King are hosting a Come and See weekend for high school senior girls on November 3-5 th. The weekend will focus on the 1 st steps of discerning religious life. If interested, see Mrs. Kenney for more details. The Bishop Neumann State Championship softball banquet will be held in the Neumann cafeteria on Monday November 6 th at 6:30 p.m. The Wahoo Locker catered meal will cost $12.00 for all guests. Players, coaches and managers are free of charge, but must still call in so that an accurate count can be made. Parents and fans can call in to reserve your meal to the school office at 402.443.4151. The deadline to sign-up is Wednesday November 1 st. Please contact Rick Ahrens if you have any questions. The Elizabeth Ann Seton Society, along with the other religious groups at Neumann (JP II, TORCH), will be collecting clothing and other items to donate to the Sienna Francis House in Omaha and Catholic Social Services in Lincoln. Attached is a list of needed items. Please consider donating new or gently used clothing and other needed items if you are able to so. Donations may be dropped off in bags or boxes in the northwest entryway of Neumann during school hours. Thank you! (See list at the bottom of the bulletin.) Key Leader Camp This camp is an opportunity open to all high school students through the Wahoo Kiwanis group. The camp will help you grow your leadership skills, connect you to other high school students throughout Iowa and Nebraska, and teach life skills for success. The camp will be held at Calvin Crest by Fremont November 10 12 th. For more information see Mrs. Chvatal Juniors Bishop Neumann will be offering the ASVAB test on Wednesday, Nov. 15 th.
