Springboard Scholars, Springboard has begun! Springboard is an after tutorial, tutorial program. Springboard is in the library every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:30. You can receive Math and ELA support on Tuesdays and Science support on Thursdays. The best part: all Springboard students can take the Springboard bus home! Pick up an application from any pod secretary. For questions, visit Mr. Clark in room 2519.
Missing Laptop Students, if you have lost your laptop please let the Laptop Tech in the library know as soon as possible. Also, teachers if a laptop has been left behind in your classroom please return it to the Laptop Tech as soon as possible.
Seussical the Musical Oh The Thinks You Can Think, Oh the Show You will See, If Your Willing To Try. You should try to attend this year s Theatre and Choir musical production of Seussical. This brand new concept of the classic is sure to entertain. With characters swinging, sliding, and flying, you will be one lucky Thinker if you make it. Show dates January 29th thru 31st, and February 4th thru the 6th. Tickets on sale now! Students $10, Adults $12
PSAT and SAT Information Session Attention College Bound Students - The University of Houston-Clear Lake is offering a Parent/Student Information Session on the PSAT and new SAT test format. If you want to find out how higher scores can create scholarship opportunities or find out about the new changes in the SAT format, then you should plan to attend this meeting. You must RSVP, so stop by the College Center for registration information.
Lost and Found Reminder, the lost and found office is with Ms. Diaz in the senior pod. Please see Ms. Diaz or Ms. Coates if you have a lost item. Lost and found items in the cafeteria will be collected every Friday. All lost and found items not claimed by the end of each month will be donated to Goodwill. If you have a lost item, please come and describe it so we can reunite you with your sad, lost, and dejected property. It missed you, please come claim it and make it feel loved again.
Parking on Feb. 5th Student drivers in the side parking lot, assigned to slots 141 through 193, must park at the designated area at Creekside Intermediate on February 5th.
Gilmore Scholarship Seniors who attended Gilmore Elementary are eligible for the Gilmore Elementary Scholarship. You must have attended Gilmore Elementary for one full year, be a graduating senior in the Class of 2016 and must be planning to attend a college or university in the Fall of 2016. You can access the scholarship application in Naviance.
Laptop Survey Students if you have not taken the Laptop Survey please log onto Itslearning and do so by the end of this week. It is important that you take this survey.

Baseball Tryouts Baseball tryouts will be held on Friday, January 29 th @ 3:00 pm & Saturday, January 30 th at 1:00 pm. In order to tryout, you must first sign up this week with Coach Brewton or Coach Benbow in the cafeteria during lunch. In order to tryout, you must have a physical on file with the athletic trainer by Wednesday, January 27 th. If you have not been cleared by the Athletic Trainer, you will not be allowed to tryout. When you sign up you will be given an information sheet detailing the tryout times and procedures.
Bowling The Junior Varsity boys won against Clear Brook 14-1. The girls fought hard, but lost 8-7, and the boys varsity lost 11-4. Good effort Chargers.
