It is time for 4-H Teen Conference June 11-14, 2018! What is Teen Conference? A 4 day program that is designed to develop leadership & citizenship skills, inspire teens to continue their involvement in 4-H, and acquaint them with our landgrant university, the University of Kentucky. 4-H Teens choose from among several interest areas for tracks, workshops, tours, college visits, and many more! On March 22-24, 2018, Alyssa Boyd attended the 4-H Teen Summit Middle School Conference! She described her weekend as a blast and loved participating in workshops, funshops, the 4K, and meeting new friends! Franklin County 4-H Communications Night Congratulations to the following individuals who competed in the Franklin County 4-H Communications Night, and were chosen the champion in their age category. 10 4-H Livestock Club The March Livestock Club meeting was focused on rabbits. Mr. Richard Krebs, who has been raising and showing rabbits for over 30 years, gave a demonstration on how to pick out your show rabbit, what to do at a show and what the judge is looking for. The Livestock Club meets on the third Tuesday night of every month and is always welcoming new members! 4-H Cooking Club Our Cooking Club spent their March evening making multi-colored Rice Krispy Easter Eggs! Cloverbuds in Action! Our Cloverbuds in March learned about seeds, including planting some of their own!
