Tryouts will be April 16 at 5:30. Must attend all days of clinic to be eligible to tryout. (With the exception of any of those involved in spring sports.) Must have a current athletic physical on the 1 st day of the clinic If you have any questions please contact Jessie Miller at 606 336 0115 Students wanting to get their permit paper from the guidance office MUST stop by the guidance office any day but MONDAY. They may pick up the form Tuesday-Friday. BCHS Talent Show Art Competition Any student wishing to compete in the BCHS Talent Show Art Competition must deliver their work to room 212 (the art room) NO LATER THAN Monday, March 30 th. If you finish prior to that and would like to drop your work off earlier then Mr. Ramey would greatly appreciate it. A reminder to art club students that this is a good opportunity to fulfill your participation requirements to stay in good standing in art club. Seniors, make sure you get your senior picture submitted to Mrs. Robinson by the end of April. April 30 is the absolute deadline. Congratulations to AJ Withrow, Cameron Parker, and Ransom McCarty for placing 1st in the Newscast Service State STLP competition! Also, congratulations to Lexie Craig for placing 2nd in the Manipulated Photo event at the State STLP competition! A special thanks to Ricky Prater and William Reed for their assistance with STLP! Melinda Crockett 9th and 10th Grade Tamela Porter 11th and 12th Grade Bath County/Owingsville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Application 2015 Scholarship Application The Bath County/Owingsville Chamber of Commerce wishes to grant one graduating student of Bath County High School a one-time scholarship. We are hopeful that the award will be at least $500.00. Requirements of the Applicant: ~Plans to attend college or technical/trade school after graduation. (Proof of enrollment will be required) ~Must have an average attendance rate of 90% from the 9 th through the 12 th grade. ~Must have a sense of civic responsibility. Chenault Agricultural Scholarship : The Chenault scholarship is valued at $1000 and will be awarded to an outstanding agriculture senior student that plans to major in Agriculture. Applicant MUST HAVE 3.0 OR ABOVE, Include a 500 word essay on why you are choosing Agriculture as your path for the future. Please see the Guidance Office, Mr. Hammons, Mr. Howard or Mrs. Tolle for an application. Wildcat Exchange Bank Scholarship for students participating in the school bank class KHSAA Sportsmanship Recognition male and female student athletes, must put together a portfolio of sports activities The BCEA scholarship is due by April 9 to Mrs. Robinson or Mrs. Porter. Applications are available in the guidance office. Five $1,500 Scholarships are available through the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association and are funded by the Kentucky Cattlemen's Foundation Kentucky Cattlemen's Foundation Scholarship requirements: You must be a 2015 graduate from a Kentucky high school. Be accepted for enrollment in a Kentucky college or other institute of higher education. Planning to major in Agriculture or an Agriculturally-related subject. Applicant or their parent or guardian must be a member of the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association. Please distribute the attached application to the youth in your county.
