For increased security, we are locking all doors at 7:20. After 7:20, please go to the main door by the flagpole. This includes students. 2. We are working with Green Twp. with A.L.I.C.E. Talks for all students. 3. Green Twp. Police have increased visits and walk-throughs. 4. 7 hand-held radios have been given to teachers for better communication. 5. Whenever possible, we are greeting visitors at the front door. 6. On-going discussion with faculty and staff about building safety. 7. The addition of a building safety audit by a 3rd party. 8. Students with instruments arriving after 7:20 Please check in to advisory before putting your instrument on the stage to avoid a potential tardy! Rehearsal District Band Festival Monday, 3/19/18. All middle school students should be in their places by 5:15. Rehearsal should be over by 7:00. Students should put their cases in the gym bleachers at the high school. Performance Tuesday 3/20/18. Middle school students should report by 6:15. The performance begins at 7:00 with a preview show from the OHHS drumline at 6:40. Please consider staying a few minutes after the show to help with cleanup. Athletics Oak Hills Middle School Cheerleading tryouts will be held this year on April 14th and 15th for incoming 6-8 graders. Come to our parent and participant tryout information meeting March 21st at 7 PM in the BMS multipurpose room to learn more! The OHMS cheerleading program focuses on building school spirit, leadership, confidence, and team building. Our competitive and game-day programs are some of the best in the Cincinnati area! Student Council This year, Student Council will be holding a yearlong fundraiser. We will be collecting box tops from many brands used in our homes every day. Bridgetown Middle School will get a minimum of 10 cents for each box top collected. That amount can add up quickly! IT S EASY!! Just cut out the box top label and give it to your child s advisory teacher. Emergency Medical Authorization Forms (EMA) Emergency Medical Forms (EMA) Please complete your student s online EMA form as soon as possible. They must be done every year in addition to the paper form and they are not linked to Final Forms. Students cannot attend field trips if EMA is not complete. Parents may access the form by going to: ohlsd.us.ema or by going to ohlsd.org and clicking on Parents (top left of screen), then click EMA form.
