The Sustainable Streets Division of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency will hold a public hearing on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 10:00 AM, in Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102, to consider the following proposals: 1. ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS De Long Street, eastbound and westbound, at Wilson Street, making this intersection an ALL-WAY STOP 2. ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS Avalon Avenue, eastbound and westbound, at Athens Street, making this intersection an ALL-WAY STOP 3. ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS Kirkham Street, eastbound and westbound, at 11 th Avenue, making this intersection an ALL- WAY STOP 4. ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS Division Street, eastbound, at King Street De Haro Street, northbound, at King Street, making this intersection an ALL-WAY STOP Items will be forwarded to SFMTA Board for approval and implementation. 5. ESTABLISH STOP SIGN (FOR BICYCLES) Indiana Street, southbound, at 25 th Street (for contra-flow bike lane on east side of Indiana Street) 14. ESTABLISH NO PARKING EXCEPT BICYCLES Bay Street, south side, from 91 feet to 163.5 feet east of Fillmore Street (72-foot, 1-inch bike share station in floating parking lane) Supervisor Stefani s office and a number of residents expressed opposition to approving the proposals for items #14, #15, and #16 on the agenda. Concerns were raised about the adequacy of the noticing of the proposals, the suitability of locating billboards and Ford advertising in neighborhoods, and the loss of residential parking spaces. Residents asked for the relocation of the spaces to commercial areas or off-street parking facilities.

15. ESTABLISH NO PARKING EXCEPT BICYCLES Clay Street, north side, from 5 feet to 83.5 feet west of Steiner Street (72-foot, 1-inch bike share station with a 3-foot red zone at each end of the station) See remarks under #14 above. In addition, residents were concerned about the incongruity of the stations with the historic preservation goals of this block. 16. ESTABLISH SIDEWALK BIKE SHARE STATION Laguna Street, east side, from 45 feet to 116.5 feet south of Washington Street (70-foot, 1- inch bike share station including delineators) See remarks under #14 above. 17. ESTABLISH NO PARKING EXCEPT BICYCLES Iowa Street, east side, from 140 feet to 220 feet south of 22 nd Street 18. ESTABLISH RADAR SPEED FEEDBACK SIGNS A. Brotherhood Way, westbound, between Summit Way and Lake Merced Blvd B. Monterey Blvd, westbound, between Acadia Street and Baden Street C. Market Street, westbound, between Hattie Street and Merritt Street Items will be forwarded to the City Traffic Engineer for approval and implementation. 19(a). ESTABLISH ROAD CLOSURE, EXCEPT PEDESTRIANS AND BICYCLES Twin Peaks Boulevard, eastern alignment, from Christmas Tree Point Road to 1,700 feet southerly (continues Pilot closure of northbound one-way portion of figure eight loop to vehicles) 19(b). ESTABLISH TWO-WAY STREET Twin Peaks Boulevard, western alignment, from Christmas Tree Point Road to 1,500 feet southerly (continues two-way Pilot roadway configuration)
