This is the first meeting of the year between the Senators and the Thunder. The Senators look to stop a two game losing skid after falling 3-2 in the rubber match against Altoona. The Senators went 3-6 versus the Thunder last season, and 2-4 in games at Arm & Hammer Park. STEVENSON PROMOTED Outfielder Andrew Stevenson was promoted to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday and Isaac Ballou was added to the Senators roster. HITS KEEP ON COMING Infielder Neftali Soto went 1-4 in the series finale against Altoona, giving him at least one hit in 18 of the 20 games he s played, and 18 of the 19 games he s started. The 28-year-old now has a six game hitting streak, the longest such streak on the roster. Soto is second on the team with a.324 average. NOT TOO HIGH AND NOT TOO LOW After losing the final game of the series to Altoona, the Senators dropped to 10-11 on the season and have a short two game losing streak. The club has not been more than two games above or one game below.500 at any point this season and has not won more than three in a row or lost more than two in a row. RED HOT RAUDY Senators catcher Raudy Read finished 0-4 Saturday night, snapping his personal season-best six game hitting streak.
