JUNIOR LUVABULLS IS A NO-CUT/NO AUDITION PROGRAM! SPACE IS LIMITED. ABOUT The Junior Luvabulls program is ready to find their 2016-2017 teams! The Junior Luvabulls will perform at five (5) Chicago Bulls regular season home games on the court at the United Center. This program is for young girls who aspire to dance and perform like the Luvabulls. Our Mission & Goals: WE BELIEVE THAT YOUTH ATHLETICS IS THE FOUNDATION FOR fitness, wellness, confidence, fun, strength, power, teamwork, friends, self-discipline, time management, goal setting, respect, coordination, flexibility and LIFE. Dance can teach an individual the importance of working together as a team. Our Teams: All girls, ages 5yrs. - 18yrs., are invited to join one of our Junior Luvabulls dance teams. Teams will be separated by age ONLY. Each member will be placed on a team after they have finished the online registration. Team Levels (Age as of September 11, 2016): Mini Luvs: 5yrs. 8yrs. Youth Luvs: 9yrs. 12yrs. Junior Luvs: 13yrs. 18yrs. Performance Team 5yrs. 18yrs. Rehearsal Location: Quest Multisport Complex (2641 W. Harrison St., Chicago, IL 60612)
REGISTRATION & DANCE WORKSHOP To register for the Junior Luvabulls Program, please visit Bulls.com/JuniorLuvabulls. There is an online registration/workshop fee of $150 due by Wednesday, September 7, 2016. The Dance Workshop is on September 11th and is mandatory for all participants who want to become a member of the Junior Luvabulls program. The uniform and accessory fee of $325 is due at check-in on September 11th (since we are using our Junior Luvabulls uniform from the 2015-16 season, participants from last year will not need to purchase a new uniform). If you need any new part(s) of your uniform, you may purchase them separately. Pricing information is under the Uniform Section in this packet. Workshop Tentative Run-of-Day (Please bring cash or money order ONLY. No checks will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS. Money orders made out to Chicago Bulls.) Doors open at 11:00AM Members should arrive by 11:30AM for check-in at Quest Multisport Complex. (2641 W. Harrison St., Chicago, IL 60612) Parents and members will check-in at the front desk. (Located in the back of Quest Multi Sport Complex) Junior Luvabull participants will proceed to the court to start warming up. Junior Luvabull fitting 11:30AM 2:00PM. Parents and members will try on their uniform and shoes for sizing. At this time, the $325 uniform fee is due. Parents will attend a mandatory parent meeting starting at 2:00PM. Parent meeting room is adjacent to the clinic court. Please bring these information packets with you to the September 11th workshop. We may not have enough copies for everyone. Junior Luvabulls game schedule will be distributed at the parent meeting. The workshop will end by 3:30PM with a performance by all of the Junior Luvabulls Teams. We have accounted for that in the tuition. These canceled rehearsals will not be rescheduled. There are no refunds given for canceled rehearsals nor will you be charged fees for missing rehearsals or arriving late. There will be two Instructors per group. A Junior Luvabull instructor has the right to remove a Junior Luvabull from any game/rehearsal without warning or refund for any of the following: -Not having the correct uniform -Not knowing the choreography -Being disrespectful to ANY staff members -Missed rehearsals Junior Luvabulls will perform hip hop and/or pom routines at two (2) pre-game performances and three (3) halftime shows throughout the Bulls regular season.
UNIFORM & ACCESSORIES The Junior Luvabulls uniform consists of: custom-made, professional uniform by The Line Up (the same company who designs and produces the Luvabulls costumes), new white poms with baton handle, low top white gym shoes, and bow. FEES & TUITION Our Junior Luvabulls program is a No-Cut/No Audition program. Below is a breakdown of all payments and due dates. New Junior Luvabulls team members will incur all of the following participation costs: Annual membership fee Accessory fees Workshop fee Uniform fees Monthly tuition fee Payments are due at the below payment schedule breakdown. All payments can be paid in cash or money order ONLY. Tuition paid after the first practice of the month will incur a $25 late fee in addition to owed tuition. (Sick days, traffic, work conflicts, missed rehearsals are no exceptions. The fee will NOT be waived.) A member will not be allowed to attend practice until the tuition or any fees are paid in full. If a member misses more than three (3) rehearsals due to late tuition and/or other reasons, that child will not be able to perform at the next scheduled Bulls game and will not receive any refunds or credits. TUITION SCHEDULE All payments are to be paid in full at the time payments are due. No exceptions or refunds. There WILL be a $25 late fee for all tuition paid after the due date (which is the first rehearsal of every month). NEW THIS SEASON The Chicago Bulls now have a new D-League team, Windy City Bulls. This team s home games will be held at the Sears Centre Arena, located at 5333 Prairie Stone Pkwy, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192. The Chicago Bulls are creating a Junior Luvabulls Performance Team to perform at three (3) Windy City Bulls home games during a timeout in addition to their five (5) performances at the United Center for the Chicago Bulls home games. On the Junior Luvabulls website, there will be an application for interested participants to fill out and bring to the workshop. The Performance Team will be a mix of all ages and will be selected based on the following: Sportsmanship Performance Skill This team will hold additional rehearsals and will learn two additional routines. The new Junior Luvabulls Performance Team is an additional $240.00 per participant. This fee includes but is not limited to: court rentals, instructor s fees, administration fees, music cuts, choreography, etc. This can be paid up front when the first month s tuition is due or can be divided into 3 payments of $90.00. In addition to the Performance Team, we have raised the age requirement to 18 years old.
GAME TICKETS JUNIOR LUVABULL PARTICIPANTS: Ages 5yrs 18yrs. NOT Parents and/or spectators If your Junior Luvabull participant is staying for her performance and the game she NEEDS a game ticket. Each Junior Luvabull needs to enter Gate 3 1/2 at the specified call-time with this ticket in hand. NO EXCEPTIONS. If your Junior Luvabull participant is NOT staying for the game and is only staying for the performance, she will NOT need a game ticket but must exit the United Center directly after the performance. Junior Luvabull participants without a ticket will need to be picked up by a parent/guardian at Gate 3 1/2 immediately following their performance. All parents are responsible for purchasing all Bulls tickets for their Junior Luvabull participant. A ticket link to purchase all game tickets will be provided by the ticketing department. If you are coming to only watch your Junior Luvabull perform, you still NEED a valid game day ticket to enter the United Center. All parents will need to enter the building through the main ticket entrance after the doors open, which is usually around 5:30P.M. on game day.
