It is hard to believe that the end of the first semester is upon us. We re looking forward to a strong end academically next week with solid performance on exams. Please find important information about exam week on the next page, and students, please make sure that you are eating healthy and getting plenty of rest and exercise alongside your studies. Good luck to everyone on exams! As we wrap up the first semester, we re looking forward to the beginning of the new one. Bridge Week 2017 has shaped up very nicely; and we ll be sending the program out early next week. Advisors will also be distributing second-semester schedules over the course of the next two weeks; any questions about schedules should begin with advisors. It s also time to begin preparing for spring sports, and you ll find important information from athletics on page three of the newsletter. First Semester Exams Exam Week: January 17 th January 20 th 2017 The schedule and directions for exam week are below. Essential Policies: Students do not have to attend school during the dates and times they do not have an exam. Exam periods are two hours each. Students must remain in each exam for at least one hour. Any student choosing to leave their exam room after one hour must leave campus. The main common area is for quiet study ONLY. This should be a library environment for those preparing for exams. Exam period 1 is from 7:45 to 9:45 each day; Exam Period 2 is from 10:00 to Noon. CTK Spring Sports Information The first day of tryouts for spring sports at CTK is February 20 th. Please be sure to have all athletic paperwork completed and turned in by February 20 th. Any athlete that does not have an up-to-date physical will not be allowed to participate in tryouts. All athletic forms can be found on ctkchs.org. Simply click on the athletics tab, and then click on athletic forms. In addition, please keep in mind that there is an athletic participation fee of $150 that can be made out to CTKAA. Athletes that have not paid their athletic fee by the first game will not be able to participate. More information about tryouts for specific sports will be provided in the upcoming weeks. Crusader Athletics: Mens Swim Team By: Leah Filiault Our Men's Swim Team has performed very well this season. They are 19-4, and 8 of 11 have already qualified for the state meet. We are also proud of Alex Adams who broke our team record this season in the 100 Butterfly. Go, Blue!!

Amigos is designed to assist Spanish speaking students to receive support with homework, Science Fair, and other areas. You do not have to speak Spanish to be a volunteer!
