Welcome Guests Jim Kaufman and Tim Melendy Welcome New Members None Around the Hangar President s Report: Bradford Walters Thanks to Frank Stillson for the windsock and Bob Breckler for installing it. The April fun fly was canceled due to the weather. Thanks to the guys that showed up anyway. Hopefully the weather will get better so we can roll the flying field. Secretary Report: Murry Randell The minutes of the March meeting were accepted as published. Treasurer Report: Bob Wisinski Current balance is $3893.03. Committee Reports: Banquet: Frank Stillson He is still checking out places for next year. Field Marshal: Matt Hauser Matt has added poles with streamers so flyers can see the winds across the field. One load of wood chips was delivered and we could use more. Fun Fly: Pete Sidor April Fun Fly was canceled due to the weather. May Fun Fly will be the Climb and Glide. No gliders allowed. There will be boxes in the meeting room for collection. The following items have been suggested as the type of food items they would like to receive: Breakfast Cereal, Canned Meat (small ham, beef, etc), Canned Vegetables, Canned Spaghetti (spaghetti-o s, etc), Peanut Butter, Jelly/Preserves, Saltines, Macaroni and Cheese, Rice, Dry Pasta, Dry Beans, Canned Sauce, and any other canned, boxed, non-perishable foods.

Bob Wisinski was the only one to answer it correctly and will receive a free raffle ticket at this month s meeting. This aircraft was the USAF s first 2-seat all weather interceptor. It made its maiden flight in the 40 s. See picture below. MAY S NAME THAT PLANE This was the US Navy s last singled engine, single seat fighter. O.S. 70 F/S 12x6 prop ELVIN SERVELLON S SBACH I think my creativity went wild when creating a cockpit for the sbach since it did not have anything to begin with. I decided to add an LED for the ignition with Tachometer linked to it. Separate to that is the switch that turns on the system battery voltage meter that also governs and distributes current to the servos based on their specific demand.
