Tournament Details: 1. Participants must be 21 years of age or older. 2. Participants cannot be barred and must have a valid membership card and be in good standing with Venetian Macau limited. 3. Tournament period for is from 22 June 2016 to 26 June 2016. 3.1 The tournament shall be held at Sands Casino tournament area and Himalaya Gaming, Sands Cotai Central tournament area. 4. Tournament qualifying criteria is listed as below: 4.1 Method 1: Point Earning a) Member will accumulate eighteen (18) points or above daily within the Points Earing Period from table and/or slot (excluding electronic table games) play at related Venetian Macau Limited properties (i.e. Venetian Casino, Sands Casino, The Plaza Macao Casino, Sands Cotai Central Himalaya Gaming, Pacific Gaming, Himalaya High Limit Area, or all APEX) to redeem one (1) entry. b) Eligible members are subjected to eighteen (18) points deduction directly from the member s account and are nonrefundable. c) The Points Earning Period are detailed as follows: Points Earning Period Tournament Date - Qualifying Round Daily 6:00am to 8:00pm (on Qualifying Round date) 22 June 25 June 2016 4.2 Method 2: New Sign Up a) New sign-up members are eligible to redeem one (1) free entry within the same day during qualifying round. b) Registration for each qualifying round must be done before 8:30pm on the same day. c) No point will be deducted. 4.3 Method 3: Buy -In a) Participants can buy-in with fifty (50) points deduction which is non-refundable. Each participant is required to buy-in in advance at designated Sands Rewards Counters located at Sands Casino or Himalaya Gaming and present their receipt at the registration counter on the tournament day. 4.4 Method 4: Sands Rewards Invitational a) Members with minimum 3 or 6 months ADT HK$3,000 or above top down invitation from their respective property (i.e. Venetian Casino, Sands Casino, The Plaza Macao Casino, Sands Cotai Central Himalaya Gaming, Pacific Gaming, Himalaya High Limit Area, or all APEX) will be invited to join this tournament. Each invited member will receive one (1) free entry during the whole qualifying round. Invitation sequence will be top down according to member s ADT. No point will be deducted for invited members upon participation. b) Invitations shall be done concurrently with other methods on a first come first served basis. 4.5 Method 5: Re-buy a) Participants may re-buy an additional entry with daily twenty (20) points accumulated within the Points Earning Period and deduction; total of six (6) entries (including the first entry) per day during qualifying round is allowed. The Venetian Macau Limited Management reserves the right to amend the number of tables, number of rounds and number of winners of the tournament, tournament date and time base on the number of participation. Any changes will be posted at the Sands Rewards counters. 7. Participants have sole responsibility to find their qualification into session/ round; start time and location of the session/round. 8. No other individual or proxy will be allowed to play on behalf of the participants. 9. Participants must be in the specified tournament area ten (10) minutes prior to the start of their round time. Participants missing their rounds or cannot be present to join the tournament will receive a zero (0) score and will be disqualified from the tournament. 10. Should Venetian Macau Limited discover fraudulent activity such as groups conspiring to affect the natural outcome of the game, Venetian Macau Limited retains the right to amend the prize money. Any changes will be clearly stated and will take effect on the day after the notification is placed. 11. Tournament consists of two (2) major rounds. The details are as below: 11.1 Qualifying Round Qualifying Round will consist of up to 4,032 participants. Each tournament location has approximately seven (7) hours of play in sit-and-go format and on a first-comefirst-served basis. At the end of the Qualifying Round, top 18 participants with the highest winning chip amount will enter to the Final Round on 26 June 2016. If participant have multiple results from Qualifying Round, only the highest result will be recorded. 11.2 Final Round Final Round consists of one (1) session with a total of thirty-six (36) participants. Eighteen (18) participants from Marina Bay Sands Singapore and eighteen (18) participants from Venetian Macau Limited. Final Round will consist of three (3) double tables and twelve (12) participants from each table will participate in the Final Round simultaneously. For the Individual Competition, at the end of the Final Round, six (6) participants will be rewarded with prizes based on their total tournament chips. The participant with the highest amount of chips shall be the Champion in the Final Round. The prize pool is detailed as follows: Place Cash Prize (HK$) 1 st $200,000 2 nd $100,000 3 rd $80,000 4 th $50,000 5 th $35,000 6 th $35,000 Total $500,000 At the end of the Final Round, if the 1st to 3rd place contestants have the same value of tournament chips, they are required to play off against each other until the final player is determined. If the 4th to 6th place contestants have the same value of tournament chips, they are required to share the cash prizes. All amounts will be round to the nearest whole number. For the Team Competition (Marina Bay Sands Singapore vs. Venetian Macau Limited), at the end of the Final Round, the winning chip amounts held by all eighteen (18) participants from Marina Bay Sands Singapore and eighteen (18) participants from Venetian Macau Limited will be summed up. The Team with the higher total tournament chips will be rewarded HK$28,000 cash for each participant. For the Team Competition (Marina Bay Sands Singapore vs. Venetian Macau Limited), at the end of the Final Round, if two teams hold the same value of tournament chips, the highest ranking player from each team will be the representative of their respective teams and must play off against each other until the final team is determined. For the Team Competition (Marina Bay Sands Singapore vs. Venetian Macau Limited), if the number of participants between 2 teams are not equal at the Final Round, total average of the winning chips amounts will be calculated. The Team which held the highest average winning chips amounts will win at the Team Competition. Registration of the tournament: 12. On day registration of each Qualifying Round for the tournament commences thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the Qualifying Round. 13. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the tournament registration meets the maximum capacity, notification will be placed at Sands Rewards Counter. 14. Eligible players are required to present their buy-in receipt with valid ID (official identification documents such as passport, travel document or residence card) and their Sands Rewards membership card for tournament registration and seat assignment at the tournament registration counter during the registration period. 15. Each entry is limited to be used in one qualifying round only across property (Sands Casino or Sands Cotai Central Casino). 16. Participants must comply with the Terms and conditions set forth by Venetian Macau Limited with regard to the designated program. Tournament Rules: 17. Prior to the commencement of the Qualifying Round, HK$100,000 worth of tournament chips (tournament chips have no true monetary value and are used only for tournament purposes) will be distributed to each participant at the designated table. 18. Prior to the commencement of the Final Round, the following items will be distributed to each participant at the designated table: HK$300,000 worth of tournament chips (tournament chips have no true monetary value and are used only for tournament purposes). During the Final Round, two secret bets can be used, subjected to the following rules: Participants are given an option to wager a secret bet only on Even Chances (Small, Big, Even, Odd). 20. A total of six (6) hands per session will be played in each Qualifying Round and fifteen (15) hands will be played in the Final Round 21. Minimum / Maximum ting Limit at each tournament table is Minimum / Maximum Personal ting Limit. 24. Where a bet made by a player is below the table minimum the player will be required to add to the bet the amount of tournament chips required to bring the bet up to the table minimum and the dealer will pay or collect the bet. Where the bet is in excess of the table maximum, the bets shall be paid or collected up to the table maximum only. 25. There shall be a maximum of twelve (12) players per each tournament table in each Qualifying Round and Final Round. 26. Participant is required to bet on each hand during a round. 27. 28. Participant is required to remove all bets after each completed hand and all bets have been paid. 29. There will be one chip count in every round. The chip count will take place prior to commencing play of the last five (5) hands of the game. The count will be performed by either the Tournament Supervisor or Dealer. Chip counts will be announced to all players participating in the chip countdown. 30. If the value of tournament chips that the participant has is lesser than the Minimum amount of one hand, the participant is eliminated from that tournament round. 31. The participant must be present at the event; otherwise the prize will be forfeited. 32. If the winner is not already a member, the participant must become a member of Sands Rewards prior to claiming the prize won. 33. All prizes won will be paid to the winner in person. 34. Once play has begun, a participant may not leave the table unless he/she has the approval from the Tournament Officials. 35. Each participant is required to display his/her tournament chips in clear view of other players and Gaming Officials at all times. 36. Participant is not permitted to borrow or loan tournament chips. Participant is not permitted to cache or engage in conversation with audience. 37. Mobile phones are prohibited during the tournament period. 38. For any reason if a participant is required to leave the table during the Tournament Session/Round, the time of absence must not exceed two (2) hands or ten (10) minutes, whichever comes first, otherwise the participants will be disqualified from the tournament. In addition, participants shall not take the tournament chips when leaving the tournament table. A minimum bet will be deducted per hand during their time of absence. 39. At the conclusion of the Tournament Round/Round, all players must return remaining tournament chips to Gaming Official. 40. Venetian Macau Limited Management reserves the right to amend the prize pool base on the number of participations. 41. The Venetian Macau Limited Management may cancel the tournament without reason or notice. In the event of cancellation, all buy-ins received will be refunded. 42. Employees, temporary employees, agents, successors, and assignees of Venetian Macau Limited, its advertising agencies and promotional companies involved in this promotion, as well as family and household members of same, shall be ineligible to participate in the promotion and shall be ineligible for any prize covered herein. 43. It is the responsibility of the members to ensure that the Sands Rewards Club membership card is inserted correctly into the slot machine and take out before the cut off time of the Points Earning Period, or handed to the table games supervisors for their play to be recorded. 44. Venetian Macau Limited reserves the right to amend any Terms and conditions stated herein and may withdraw or discontinue the tournament at any time without prior notice. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of Venetian Macau Limited. 45. System default or variance may occur which may affect the accuracy of point accumulation. The Venetian Macau Limited Management is not liable for any of the discrepancies or variances which may occur in points generated by the system due to computer malfunction or operational variances etc. Additionally, the Venetian Macau Limited Management is not responsible for any other errors arising out of the membership cards not being inserted or swiped properly. 46. Failure to adhere to the tournament rules will result in disqualification. 47. The Chinese version of these Terms and conditions shall prevail wherever there is a discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions. Terms and conditions Players participating in the promotion agree to abide by all promotion Terms & Conditions as published and amended and shall accept as final and binding the decisions of Venetian Macau Limited. Any patron who are barred under the Government Barring List & VML Barring List and person under the age of Twenty-one (21) years and employees or immediate family members of Venetian Macau Limited or its respective affiliates are not eligible to participate in the program. Immediate family members shall include, but not limited to, a team member s parents, siblings, spouse, children and any other family members living in the same household. If any ineligible person participates in the program in violation of the Terms & Conditions, the game and/or related promotion/tournament shall be considered as null and void to the ineligible person and no prize will be awarded to this person even if selected as a winner. In consideration for participation in the program, participants accept all Terms & Conditions set forth herein and irrevocably authorize Venetian Macau Limited and its affiliates to print, publish, televise or otherwise distribute their name, voice or the likeness in its or its affiliates properties and for other commercial and marketing use within and outside the property. Gaming is a form of entertainment for adults only. Persons under the age of Twenty-one (21) are not eligible to participant in any gaming promotions and are prohibited by Macau law from entering into any casino in Macau.
