2014 CCS Div. 2 Baseball Champions: John Ahrens Noah Antonello Cameron Barrett David Clark Ryan Keenan Conner Knapp Conor Morgan Matt Risko Arman Sabouri Michael Walls Mitch Anders Wyatt Austin Cameron Caldwell Robert Hurst Chris Kiefer Austin Moreno Justin Ramos Tanner Robson Cale Thompson Ryan Williams Alex Zarate Head Coach: Landon Jacobs Assistant Coaches: Rod Davison, Kim Davison, Steve Janssen, Dan Rossetta and Chris Mendoza 2014 Season: Team finished 20-14 overall and 7-7 in league which earned them a 5 th place finish in the BVAL Mt Hamilton A Division. As the #5 seed in the Mt Hamilton Division the Bruins upset #4 Willow Glen and #1 Leland in the Mt Hamilton Division Tournament before falling to #2 seed Leigh in the Championship game. BVAL Mt Hamilton Division award winners included Arman Sabouri as Sophomore of the Year and Alex Zarate and Ryan Williams as 1 st Team All-League. The Bruins earned a #8 seed in the CCS Division II playoff bracket and a 1 st round home game against #9 Sacred Heart Prep. A 7-6 victory advanced the team to play the #1 seed Pacific Grove in Monterey. The Bruins upset the Breakers 3-1 to advance to the semifinals at San Jose Municipal Stadium vs #12 seeded Menlo who they beat 3-1. The matchup in the finals pitted Branham against the 6 th seeded St Francis CCC. The Bruins scored one run in the top of the first and that single run ended up being the winning run as the 1-0 victory allowed Branham to claim the school s 3 rd Central Coast Section Baseball Title!

(The scholastic award was not offered in 2011. The now Seniors are: Tara Allison, Megan MacGregor, Sharri Mo, and Jennifer O'Brien. 3 members of the 2014 team were also members of the 2012 CCS Scholastic Team Champion team, which also had the highest GPA in all CCS sports with a 3.9280. These members were: Tara Allison, Megan MacGregor and Jennifer O'Brien. Megan MacGregor - 4 year CCS Qualifier 8th place at 2014 CCS 1st Individual State Qualifier for Branham Girls Cross Country
