The New Year is just around the corner and we ll be starting our 2 nd year, can you believe that!!! I guess the old saying is true, Time flies by when you re having fun and we sure had a lot of that this year. We had two very successful events in November, the Breakfast Get Together on Nov. 22 nd and the Shrine Dinner Cruise on Nov. 30 th. Both events were well attended and everyone seemed to have a great time. There are pictures of each event on the website now. My thanks to everyone who came out and participated. MCSTL CHRISTMAS DINNER MEETING & CHARITY BOOK COLLECTION Our regular meeting for December will be a little different. Club member Rich Johnston has graciously offered to host the meeting at his house on Saturday, Dec. 13 th at 6pm. This meeting will have more of a party type atmosphere. Rich will furnish the main entrée but has asked that everyone bring a side dish or dessert. If you need directions please contact one of the board members. Hope to see a lot of you there for a good time.. Don t forget to renew your membership for 2009 by filling out the enclosed application in this newsletter. I wouldn t want anybody to miss out on another fun year of car shows, cruises and picnics. We ll be planning a lot of different things for next year and need your input. So get involved and help with the continued growth of our club. The big event that we have planned for 2009 is the 45 th anniversary celebration in Birmingham, Alabama. The dates are April 16 th through the 19 th. I still have a few rooms left so let me know if you re interested in going. So, I guess I ll close for now, everyone be safe and enjoy the holidays. Keeping the tradition alive!!!!! Greetings of the season to you all! I can t believe it s December, can you? Fireplaces are flickering, ovens are filling our homes with nostalgic aromas, and the malls are shoulder to shoulder with shoppers. Most of us like the first two things, but not that last one. Statistics show that more and more people are doing their holiday shopping from their favorite chair in the comfort of their own home. You can too. Just go to www.mustangclubofstl.com and click the Online Store tab. You ll find all kinds of garments and accessories for the Mustang lover in you or that someone special. Since the weather has changed, I thought it would be a good idea to have a feature this month on our official club jacket. Several of our members have recently purchased jackets, so you ll be seeing that giant logo on their back! You ll find the jacket in the Online Store in the Outerwear Dept. It s Style # JP54, and called the Port Authority Competitor Jacket. Appropriately named, I might add, since our members always seem to be competing somewhere, either on the racetrack or in a car show! It s in the fourth row down the page and the model is wearing it. Of course our color is royal blue, and our logo looks really sharp against that background. Working with these jackets in the store lately, and wearing my own a couple times, I have gotten better acquainted with all the great features this jacket offers. First of all, it s a nylon shell with a fleece lining, so it looks sporty but keeps you warm. The sleeves don t have fleece, they have nylon lining, so the jacket slips on and off easy. Sleeves also have Velcro and elastic at the cuffs, so you can adjust them to be loose or tight. When you want to keep the wind out you can tighten them, or if you want to extend your gloves up under your cuff you can loosen the Velcro. Also to protect against the wind the zipper goes all the way up, so you can stand the collar up and zip up to your chin if you want to. There are three pockets two on the front outside and one on the inside. They ALL zip closed, so your keys and cell phone won t fall out a nice feature not usually found on jackets in this price range. The bottom has elastic all the way around, so when the jacket is zipped the bottom hugs your body, again keeping out the wind. Last but not least, it s machine washable. The jacket sells for $35.98. The embroidery is priced separately and there are three choices: the large logo on the back is $60.00, the small logo on the front left chest is $10.00, and your name on the front right chest is $5.00. It s up to you what you want on your jacket. You can have one, two, or all three choices depending on your preferences and your budget. If you have other ideas about what you want embroidered on it, let me know and I can quote you a price. Remember, any of our club merchandise can be personalized to reflect your personality and your Pony. If you go with the large logo on the back, there won t be any mistaking you re a Mustang lover when you ride off into the sunset! Even though the JP54 is our official jacket, you can select a different one if there s one you like better. The logos can be put on any of them. Wearing anything with our logo on it is a great way to look good and promote our club. Don t forget: 15% of every purchase you make goes back to the club treasury! So don t fight the crowds at the malls shop your very own Webstore for all your gift needs. Let me know if you aren t finding what you re looking for. I can probably find it for you! Happy Holidays to everyone and let s look forward to starting our second year! I m sure we are going to have twice the fun!! And whether in the store or on the road, Happy Wandering! HOMETOWN BUFFET MCSTL BREAKFAST NOVEMBER 22,2008

Page 4 Unbridled OUR LADY OF THE SNOWS SHRINE DINNER AND CHRISTMAS LIGHT CRUISE November 30, 2008 The weather once again was uncooperative for all of the MCSTL members to feel comfortable putting their Mustangs on the road for our cruise to Our Lady of the Snow Shrine for dinner and a drive through the light display. However, we did have some of the die hard pony lovers bring their cars out for the evening. Everyone agreed that the buffet dinner was delicious and the assortment of the buffet satisfied everyone s appetite. After dinner, we all explored the other activities offered at the shrine and met a few minutes before 6:00 for our drive through the inspirational Christmas light display. What a great way to kick off the holiday season!!!
