TODAY S SPEAKER Mr. David G. Wallace PIRATES COVE: ZIP LINE AND WATER THEME PARK The Rotary Club of Lucaya partnered with the Royal Bahamas police force traffic division on Tuesday Aug 16th 2016 in an effort to sensitize the grand Bahama community of exercising due care and attention while driving. Mr. Taylor delivered a pertinent address on the topic Road Safety & Working Together to reduce fatalities and traffic accidents. Driving without due care and attention has been proven to be the root cause of traffic accidents. Mr. Taylor thanked the Rotary Club of Lucaya for their partnership to make the streets of Grand Bahama safe.

Rotary International has dedicated the month of August as a time for all clubs to recognize the importance of membership. In any organization, membership is the driving force to productivity & purpose. Beyond this, active membership is vital to the success of every club. Every person is equipped with innovative ideas and talents that can enhance our club. A strong Rotary Club is made up of diverse individuals coming together to achieve one common goal and that is to serve humanity. Rotarians, let us remember it is not about whether you ve served thirty years or three years. The important thing is that you have dedicated your time in the service of others. Let us ponder this during membership month, within this great organization of Rotary International. Rotarians at work at Basra swim & beach party
