Stewards interviewed connections of the greyhound CAWBOURNE DEBBIE [2] regarding the greyhounds actions in the turn into the home straight and approaching the finish line. After viewing the video replay of this event Stewards advised connections that they believe the greyhound did turn it s head inwardly in the home straight and approaching the finish line, make head or muzzle contact with WEONA BANQUET [6]. Connections agreed with stewards observations. Stewards subsequently issued the greyhound CAWBOURNE DEBBIE [2] with a ticket for Marring in accordance with GAR69 (1)(a). As this is the greyhound s 2nd Offence it is now suspended from racing at all tracks for a period of 3 months days and until the completion of a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR72.
