Product and Company Identification Product Name: Trade Name: SV50 Aqueous Epoxy Part A SV50 Aqueous Epoxy Part A Revision Date: 11/11/2008 Company Name: Address: In the event of emergency human exposure: On-Crete Australia Pty Ltd 4/66 Casua Dr, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227 Australia Ph: (07) 5593 6884 Fax: (07) 5593 6885 Poisons Information Centre Ph: 131136 Hazardous according to the criteria of NOHSC 2. Composition/Information on Ingredients Ingredients considered hazardous according to the criteria of Worksafe Australia: Chemical Name CAS # Proportion EU Classification Biphenol A Epichlorohydrin Resin [25068-38-6] 10-30% Xi; N R:36/38-43-51/53 In Can Biocide [Proprietary] <10% R43 Ingredients determined not to be hazardous to 100% 3. Hazards Identification Irritating to eyes and skin May cause sensitisation by skin contact Toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Skin contact may produce health damage* May produce discomfort of the respiratory system* Possible respiratory sensitiser* Maybe harmful to the foetus/embryo* May affect fertility* * (limited evidence) 4. First Aid Measures Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes holding eyelids apart to ensure flushing of the entire eye surface. Seek medical attention as soon as possible. 1

Page 2 of 5 2 Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep airway clear. Seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY. NEVER induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to an unconscious patient. Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Persons administering first aid to overexposure victims should carefully wash off any visible product from the victims face. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. If breathing is difficult administer oxygen. Seek medical attention if ill effects persist. Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash clothing and contaminated footwear before reuse. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. Note to doctor: Treat symptomatically. 5. Fire-Fighting Measures Flash Point: Extinguisher Media: Not Applicable On large fires use dry chemical, foam or water spray. On small fires use CO2, dry chemical or water spray. Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: This material is not readily combustible under normal conditions and is not considered to be a significant fire risk. Reacts with strong oxidising materials, amines, mercaptans and strong acids Special Protective Equipment: Hazardous Polymerisation: Combustion Products: Stability: Self contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing should be worn. May occur if the two SV50 kit parts are allowed to mix in proportions other than the manufacturers recommendation, polymerisation with gelation and evolution of heat may occur. This excess heat may generate toxic and/or corrosive vapours. Toxic fumes of CO2 and other pyrolysis products typical of burning organic material may be evolved on burning or exposure to heat. (See Section 10 of this MSDS) Stable 6. Accidental Release Measures Steps to be taken if material is released or spilled: Wear appropriate protective clothing. Restrict access to contaminated area. Stop spill at source. Dike to prevent spreading. Collect free liquid into a recovery vessel. Absorb remainder with sand or clay and place in a properly labelled waste receptacle. Follow all government and local body regulations for disposal. Do not contaminate water while cleaning equipment or disposing of wastes. Prohibit contamination of streams, lakes and other bodies of water. 2

Page 3 of 5 3 Container Disposal: DO NOT reuse container. Dispose of safely. 7. Handling and Storage Handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and all other personal contact. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practises. Wash hands thoroughly after contact. Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Store away from oxidising materials, amines, mercaptans, strong acids and foodstuffs. Special: Avoid cross contamination between the two liquid parts of the SV50 product kit. If the two SV50 kit parts are allowed to mix in proportions other than the manufacturers recommendation, polymerisation with gelation and evolution of heat may occur. This excess heat may generate toxic vapours. 8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection Exposure Controls for Mixture: Composite exposure standard for mixture (TWA) 10mg/m3 Ventilation Requirements: Good industrial hygiene practise dictates that indoor work areas should be isolated and provided with adequate local exhaust ventilation, if risk of overexposure occurs. Respiratory Protection: None normally required if good ventilation is maintained. If mist is generated during application process, an approved mist respirator with organic vapour filters must be used. Eye Protection: Eye contact must be avoided. Safety goggles with side shield or a face visor must be worn. Skin Protection: Skin contact must be avoided and good personal hygiene practises observed. Protective clothing including impervious chemical nitrile gloves must be worn. Care must be taken while removing gloves and other skin protective equipment to avoid ALL skin contact. 9. Physical and Chemical Properties Appearance: Specific Gravity: Solubility in Water: Flash Point: White liquid 1.34 @ 20 degrees Celsius Miscible Not Applicable 10. Stability and Reactivity Stability: Products of this type are stable and unlikely to react in a hazardous manner under normal conditions. 3

Page 4 of 5 4 Incompatibility: Hazardous Polymerisation: Oxidising Agents, Strong Acids, Mercaptans, Amines. May occur if the two SV50 kit parts are allowed to mix in proportions other than the manufacturers recommendation, polymerisation with gelation and evolution of heat may occur. This excess heat may generate toxic vapours. 11. Toxicological Data Biphenol A Epichlorohydrin Resin [25068-38-6] Oral (rat) LD50: 13600mg/kg for RTECS SL 6475000 Intraperitoneal (rat) 2400mg/kg Oral (mouse) LD50: 15600 mg/kg Eye (rabbit) 100mg mild Equivocal tumourigen by RTECS criteria 12. Ecological Information Avoid contaminating waterways. Toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. 13. Disposal Considerations Dispose of via an authorised person/licensed waste disposal contractor in accordance with local regulations. Incineration may be carried out under controlled conditions provided that local regulations for emissions are met. Dispose of product and container responsibly and carefully. Do not dispose of near waterways, down drains or into soil. 14. Transport Information Not classified as hazardous for transport (ADG, UN, IATA/ICAO) 15. Regulatory Information Australian Classifications: Poisons Schedule UN Number: HAZCHEM Code: Dangerous Goods Class Packaging Group: EC Labelling: S5 Xi Irritant R43 May cause skin sensitisation by contact R36/38 Irritating to eyes and skin N51/53 Toxic to aquatic organisms.
