EIGHTH GRADE GRADUATION Please mark your calendars - our eighth grade graduation Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5th at 7:00 P.M. All families are invited to attend. OPEN HOUSE & FINE ARTS SHOWCASE - APRIL 15TH All families are encouraged to attend our Open House, Fine Arts Showcase this Sunday, April 15th from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. DRAMA CLUB PLAY Save the date for the Drama Club performance of Mayhem at the Museum on Friday, May 4th at 6:30 P.M. in Miller Pavilion. The ticket cost is $5 per person. OLG students and children 5 and under get in for free! A flyer went home in Mail Day last week about Backstage Notes. In this week s Mail Day are flyers for the tickets and our Program Shout-outs. PRIMARY PROM All students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to attend a special Primary Prom event sponsored by the OLG PTG. The event will be held on Friday, April 20th at 7:00 P.M. in Keefer Hall. Students are to ask a Special Grown Up in their life to escort them to the Prom for the evening. The cost to attend is $10 for the student and their adult guest. Invitations were sent home in the students Teacher Communication folders last week. RSVP s are a must! Students going into 5th-8th grade in the 2018-2019 school year can sign up for Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball and JV Boys and Girls Basketball as well as JV Girls Volleyball. SUMMER LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL COACH & COORDINATOR NEEDED The Athletic Association is looking for volunteers for Summer League Volleyball. They are in need of a coach as well as someone to coordinate the Summer League Volleyball program. Camp Invention sets a foundation for creativity, innovation, and problem solving in students that will serve them well, whatever path they choose. Camp Invention at OLG runs from June 18th - 22nd and is open to students entering Kindergarten - 6th grade in the fall. Online registration is currently open - space is limited so register early. You don t have to be an OLG student to attend this camp. Let your friends and family know about this amazing opportunity. OUR LADY OF THE SACRED HEART NEWS Spring Golf Series - Starting Thursday, April 12th, this five-week clinic is for students wishing to learn more about the game of golf and expand their skills. Run by PGA Professional and OLSH Golf Coach Ron Lucas, practices will take place at the RMU Dome and Scally's Pitch & Putt on Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, starting April 12 and running through May 10. Cheer Clinic on Saturday, May 19th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Sunday, May 20th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, sponsored by the OLSH Charger Cheerleaders. Welcome Night for the Class of 2022 OLSH officially welcomes the new freshman class and their families at their annual Welcome Night on Wednesday, May 9th at 7:00 pm. The student portion of the night will involve getting acquainted with future classmates, signing up for sports and activities, and meeting faculty and students.
