This owner s manual is in accordance with the Device Directive 89/392 and subsequent amendments. The use indications of this manual are those indicted by The Manufacturer. ATTENTION: The user must be informed of the following responsibility issues: The Manufacturer is responsible for the unit in the way it is made in its premises and for the use indicated in Part B. INSTRUCTION: Check the following indication before the unit first use: The unit plate with CE seal it is attached by the Manufacturer. ATTENTION: Technical specifications, capacity, weight plates and other information are referred to maximum unit performance in the way it is made in the Manufacturer premises. That is to say the unit starting, the use of the unit devices and the maintenance. The unit is made in accordance with UNI CNR 10011 standards. The unit allowed use is for a pool lift in order to help people with disabilities in their transfer to and from pools. Owner s Manual 006 -- Ed. 03.2013 D I G I P R O J E C T C.02 General safety information The owner must keep the unit in good working conditions. Read the manual for any need of information. The use of the manual pump and the electric valve is only for properly instructed operator. Do not use the unit on rise round or in relevant slopes. Do not load unknown weight capacities on the unit. In case of person on a wheelchair -make sure the wheelchair is firmly stopped on the ground and the person is properly and firmly seated before starting operations. Check the unit is in stand-by position before re-start. Emergency Use the manual pump with lever in case of hydraulic failure - the lever is placed on the left. The oil arrives to the hydraulic jack for the up-lift. In case of electric power failure, start the electric valve in a manual way to lower the seat (see picture). Address to service staff, once the up-lift or down-lift operations have succeeded. Emergency In case of block of the rotating system, unscrew the black knob (a) to disconnect the motor gear from the gear wheel thus allowing the lift manual rotation; The whole system is to be repaired by authorized skilled engineer after the emergency. a DIGI Project s.n.c. Owner s Manual 006 - Ed. 06.2013 D I G I P R O J E C T D.02 Qualifications The staff or operator in charge of the unit must be familiar with its use and must fit the following qualifications: Body Good sight, sense of hearing and coordination, skilfulness with the unit use. No disabilities coming fom drugs or alcoholic drinks. Mind Skilfulness in taking decisions in line with the manual information and the safety information for their own safety and for everybody else in the surroundings. Behaviour The operator must work in no-stress conditions and must be able to take decisions regarding his own working conditions in order to ensure maximum safety. Training This manual must be carefully read in all parts. At the beginning the operator must become familiar with the unit use and its controls by starting more times the unit without a person seated. Use and responsibility Use We refer to the use and responsibility related to the unit from its starting to its working and maintenance. The operator must known the safety information and the correspondent controls use and unit equipment..

Owner s Manual 006 - Ed. 06.2013 D I G I P R O J E C T E.02 CONTROL PANEL 6 4 5 7 1 3 Unit start controls 1) Key starter 8 2 Start the unit by turning on clockwise the key starter and the battery level LED indicators light on. 2) (DOWN) control button for lowering/clockwise rotation The button is in the middle of the panel. It is shown by a down-facing arrow. Keep the button pressed to ensure movement. Release the button to stop. 3) (UP) control button for lifting/anti-clockwise rotation This button is on the rights side of the panel. It is shown by an up-facing arrow, Keep the button pressed to ensure movement. Release the button to stop. 4) Battery charge indicator The indicator is on the left side of the control panel. There are five (no. 5) red LED indicators for the level of charge from 0% to 100%. 5) Emergency push-button The push-button is on the right top side of the panel and it is like a red mushroom. There is a yellow coloured circle underneath it where you can find the indication EMERGENCY STOP. Once the button is pushed, turn clockwise to release it. 6) Plug in Battery Charger Use the battery charger for putting the battery under charge for 10 hours at least. Repeat such an operation at least once a week.

The remote control has a button (3) with the same functions as the one on the control panel, a button (2) with the same functions as the one of the control panel and a button (8) with the same functions as the one on the control panel. 8 ) Rotating function The clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation takes place by pressing buttons 8 and 2 or 3 at the same time. Up and down remote control UP The lifting operation is activated by pressing button (3). The movement is ensured by keeping the button pressed ; when the button is released, the movement stops. DOWN The lowering operation is activated by pressing button (2). The movement is ensured by keeping the button pressed; the movement stops when the button is released ROTATION clockwise/anti-clockwise The rotation function is activated by pressing button (8), the clockwise rotation takes place by pressing button (2) while the anti-clockwise rotation takes place by pressing button(3) The movement takes place only if buttons are pressed. It stops when buttons are released., 8 3 2

Owner s Manual 006 - Ed. 03.2013 D I G I P R O J E C T F02 Introduction Safe operating procedures. DANGER. Use the unit in flat areas only. ATTENTION: Check the safety devices every time you start the unit. Movement of the transported person The person is to be lifted to overcome the pool wall (UP) and then lowered into the water (DOWN). In order to carry out these operations safely, the following steps have to be followed in sequence. phase 1: position the lift F 100M seat near the wheelchair phase 2: transfer the person from the wheelchair to the lift seat and fasten the safety belt phase 3: switch on the machine phase 4: press the UP button(2) either on the remote control or on the main panel and keep the button pressed to lift and release it to stop lifting. phase 5: The rotation function is activated by pressing button (8) and buttons( 2) or( 3) on the remote control to have the fixed pool lift F100M turn until the seat is over the water. phase 6: press the DOWN button (2) to start lowering and keep it pressed until the seat is in the water. Release the button to stop lowering. At this moment, a second person, who is inside the water, can unfasten the belt and help the person to leave the seat. Recovery of the person from the pool phase 7: at this stage, a second person is needed (as per phase 6), to make sure the person is duly seated and the belt fastened. phase 8: press the UP button (3): the seat goes up remaining in horizontal position. The solenoid stops automatically at final position. phase 9: press button (8) and buttons ( 2) or (3) on the remote control to activate the rotating function of fixed pool lift F100M until the seat is over the ground. phase 10: press the DOWN button (2) until the seat is at the desired level. Release the button to stop. phase 11: unfasten the safety belt, transfer the person from the fixed F 100M pool lift to his/her wheelchair

Owner s Manual 006 - Ed. 03.2013 D I G I P R O J E C T G02 Introduction Both the operator and the service operations must be indicated in the pages dedicated to check coupons at the end of this manual. Maintenance operations must be executed with the key turned off. The unit electric devices and components must be properly protected and covered when you wash the unit. Pressure water-jets may damage electric devices, components and wiring. Coating finish and other anti -rust surface treatments protect all the unit components from weather conditions. However, we suggest to check the unit coating and the surface treatments regularly. If necessary, carry out touch-up repairs to surfaces. Check list Take care of the main maintenance operations of the unit as follows: After 6 months of unit work - Check pins and joints - Check safety belt fixings and locks - Check electric connections and wiring - Check oil level in the oil tank - Check cylinder jacks for oil leaks. - Check that wheels and bearings are working properly, ensure tyres are not worn out and that the wheels run straight when unit is pushed Every 12 months - Check oil-pressure cylinders - Check hydraulic applications and safety devices - Check the unit frame - Check/or replace the yellow plates - Inspect fluid and filter and replace if necessary - Check pins and joints - Check safety belt fixings and locks - Check and test electric connections and wiring A competent member of staff must check and test all the unit safety devices, controls, and mechanical parts if the unit is not used for a period of time longer than three months. Disposal The disposal of this product must be carried out by competent agencies according to the laws and rules of the country where the unit has been use.
