Here at GRIP Expeditions we are delighted to offer walking, cycling and canoeing for the expedition section of any level Duke of Edinburgh s Award programme. We think the option of spending a few days on a river in the wild, or hiking through the beautiful countryside is a great way to achieve your award and GRIP Expeditions prides itself on being able to offer a safe and affordable programme tailored to fit your needs. We offer packages for schools and youth groups which cover all training, practice and qualifying phases for the expedition award, all by qualified and experienced staff. We also provide the group equipment needed for the teams including tents, stoves and emergency kit, with GPS tracking for all silver and gold award expeditions for peace of mind. If you re on your own, join one of our Open Gold Award expeditions. We run practice and qualifying in the Lake District, or in the fantastic Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain. Whatever you choose, rest assured that Grip have the experience you need to enjoy a safe and enjoyable expedition. We are an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh s Award, and we are also licensed by the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (AALA).
