1 UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA OUTDOOR ADVENTURE RECREATION CENTER FACILITY USAGE APPLICATION ALL EVENTS MUST BE SPECIAL EVENTS AND MUST BE RELATED TO RECREATION, HEALTH/WELLNESS AND/OR EDUCATION. Classification of Applicant UCO Student Organization for Non- Profit- This group is an affiliate of the University of Central Oklahoma that has desire to use the UCO facilities for recreation, fitness, or educational purposes. These organizations are limited to one Saturday rental per group for each semester, and must have their completed application submitted 10 days prior to the requested rental date. UCO Organizations for Profit- The group is an affiliate of the University of Central Oklahoma, but has the desire to rent one of the UCO facilities for the purpose of making a profit for their own benefit. In this case, this organization is required to pay all rental fees necessary for the use of any UCO facilities. Off- Campus Non- Profit Organizations- This group is defined as any individual or group that is not an affiliate of the University of Central Oklahoma, which has the desire to rent a UCO facility for the purpose of recreation, fitness, or education. In this case, this association must have liability insurance certification of no less than $1 million, a non- profit certificate, and a completed application received within 10 days prior to requested rental date. All rental fees apply. Off- Campus For- Profit Organizations- This group is defined as any individual or group that is not an affiliate of the University of Central Oklahoma, which has the desire to rent a UCO facility for the purpose of making a profit for their own benefit. In this case, this organization must have a liability insurance of no less than $1 million and a completed application received within 7 days prior to requested rental date. All rental fees apply. Payment of Facilities Payment for the below listed UCO Recreation Facilities will be made at the time of rental to hold reservation. NOTE: Should a group cancel reservations after payment of UCO recreation Facilities there will be a 25% cancellation fee.
2 Equipment and Event Space Rentals Equipment Rental: (Mountain Bikes, Kayaks, Canoes, Stand- up Paddle Boards) UCO Students/Faculty/Staff Free UCO Alumni $10.00 per hour - $5.00 additional hour. Family member or friend with UCO Student/Faculty/Staff - $10.00 per hour - $5.00 additional hour. Community member non UCO student/faculty/staff $15.00 per hour - $10.00 additional hour. All equipment rentals are per person. Event Space Rental: (Conference Room and Outdoor Seating Area) Conference Room - $50.00 per hour. Outdoor Seating Area - $40.00 per hour. Combined Conference Room/Outdoor Seating Area - $75.00 per hour. Fees apply to all non UCO groups at all times. Fees apply to all groups (including UCO groups) outside of regular business hours. Retreat Packages: Package #1 Includes outdoor seating area with games and use of grill/fire pit. Package #2 Includes outdoor seating area with games, water activities and use of grill/fire pit. Package #3 Includes outdoor seating area and conference room, games, water activities and use of grill/fire pit. # of People Package 1 Fee Package 2 Fee Package 3 Fee 5-10 $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ N/A $ $ Facility Notes: Events are limited to no more than 100 participants. Package 1 is limited to no more than 50 participants. For groups over 36 participants, both the outdoor seating area and conference room must be rented. The conference room seats 24 at tables and up to 36 total. No overnight Groups. Campsite rentals are available at the Edmond Park entrance booth. All packages are limited to 3 hours. If more than 3 hours are desired an hourly rate will be applied for space rental and facilitation, if required.
3 Adventure Excursions Hiking, backpacking, and kayak touring trips are available upon request. This includes both single and multi- day trips. Pricing varies per trip and will be determined by trip length, number of participants, millage to destination, and menu plan. Please allow a minimum of 3 months notice for multi day backpacking and kayak touring trips. For multi day backpacking trips and kayak touring trips, participants will be required to attend 3 pre- trip planning meetings to discuss logistics, equipment selection, and menu planning. In addition the three pre- trip meetings, multi day kayak touring trip participants will be required to take an ACA kayaking instructional class. This class must take place a minimum of one week prior to the trip. Courses, Classes and Workshops All courses, classes and workshops must be scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event. Prices vary depending on the course, class or workshop.
