Whick lake is best for kayaking? A: All three of the area lakes (Taneycomo, Table Rock, and Bull Shoals) are great for kayaking. However, most prefer Lake Taneycomo because it s a great adventure lake, and looks and feels like a river. Q: How long does a float trip last? A: We offer short floats (one hour minimum) to all day float trips. It depends upon how long you would like to be on the water! Q: What if we have never kayaked before? A: You will have a blast! The area lakes are great excursion lakes. Beginners and professionals alike are certain to enjoy their adventure. Dropping off kayakers at one of the many drop off locations Q: Is there wildlife? A: Yes, that is one of the joys of kayaking/canoeing in the Ozarks: being immersed in nature, you see all kinds of Ozarkian creatures! I met a lot of a people along the White River.
