TAZ Gets High Grades from Students in Post Falls, Idaho Schools Students from Seltice and Mullan Trail Elementary Schools in Post Falls, Idaho enjoyed Tennis Afterschool Zone (TAZ) this spring. Many students purchased a racquet to continue playing with their families this summer and were looking forward to their next session of TAZ this fall. A special thank you to Site Director Breland Tommerup (2nd adult on left) and instructors Voni Tombari (1st on left), Cheryl Lepper (2nd on right) and Debbie Hernandez (far right) who led the TAZ fun for the 18 children who participated. These TAZ leaders helped kids go from never picking up a tennis racquet to playing tennis with their friends in the final session Play Day. And with school starting next month, it s the perfect time for parents to contact your school PTA leaders to get a TAZ program started this fall or winter. Tennis is a great sport for kids to learn while having fun and being active. The USTA/PNW also needs more outstanding instructors to join the fun as we expand our TAZ programs in 2013-14. If you re interested, email us at taz@pnw.usta.com.
