The Arizona National Quarter Horse Show will be governed by AQHA rules according to the current AQHA Rule Book. 2. AzQHA points for this Show will count for the 2016 year end awards. 3. A copy of the AQHA registration certificate is required and must list the same owner as shown on the entry form. 4. For Performance Halter entries, a copy of the AQHA Register of Merit in the appropriate division is required and must be sent in with the entry form.
15 5. Show Management will inspect membership cards or photocopies prior to accepting entries in an AQHA class. In order to show, an exhibitor must present a current membership card or purchase a membership from the Show Secretary. Non-AQHA classes including 13 & under and Walk/Trot classes do not require membership except for state points. 6. A $5 show processing/drug testing fee per horse per judge will be collected and forwarded to AQHA. 7. Every rider competing in an Amateur or Novice Amateur class must possess a current Amateur card issued by AQHA which may be obtained at the Show Office. 8. Youth & Novice Youth Exhibitors must be members of AQHYA (National). Membership may be obtained in the Show Office. 9. The 13 & under and Walk/Trot classes are not AQHA approved and count for state AZQHYA points only. 10. Walk/Trot Classes are for riders 10 & under. Horse need not be Quarter Horse. STALLS 11. Stalls must be reserved and paid for by December 15. Please see Stalls Section of the General Horse Show rules for specific rules. 12. Exhibitors will be responsible for any repair bills for stalls occupied by exhibitor and charged to Arizona National by WestWorld. Do not use any nails or screws in stall area, each hole is a $25 fine. 13. A grounds fee of $25.00 per horse will be charged for haul-in horses (horses without a stall). For horses entered in only youth classes, the grounds fee will be $10.00 per horse. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS as Required by WestWorld 11. NEW Equine Health Precautions Effective October 9, 2015: WestWorld Management, or its designees, will perform spot checks at horse shows by looking through office entries and/or when a trailer pulls onto WestWorld property. If an exhibitor does not have the appropriate paperwork they will be asked by WestWorld Management to remove the horse from WestWorld property. 12. Effective July 1, 2014: A negative Coggins, dated within the previous twelve (12) months, must accompany ALL horses brought onto WestWorld property. 13. A Health Certificate, dated within the previous thirty (30) days, must be presented for any horse originating outside of Arizona. 14. Health Certificates and paperwork confirming that all Health Requirements have been satisfied will be required by ALL exhibitors. Exhibitors must be prepared to provide any and all health documents required by management upon arrival and any time while horses are present at the facility. ENTRY FEES 15. Payment for fees is expected at entry office day of show. Arrangement for payment of all fees must be made with the Show Secretary prior to exhibitor s first class. Open checks will be accepted. Exhibitors must settle all fees before leaving the Show. 16. Credit cards will be accepted for payment of fees at the show. Card and Cardholder must be present to run credit card charges. A 4% service fee will be charged for all credit card transactions. 17. Refunds will NOT be issued after you have closed out your check. 18. A $50 service fee will be charged on all returned checks. 19. Cow Horse Cattle must be reserved by December 15 with a completed Cow Horse Cattle Reservation Form including full payment of $65 per head. Entries without reserved cattle and reservations sent without payment are subject to availability of cattle and a late fee of $30 per head.

Class Awards: Exhibitors placing 1st through 6th place will have the option of receiving a rosette or a raffle ticket. Rosettes and raffle tickets can be picked up at the Awards Office at the Equidome Office on the east end of the arena. Five drawings for your choice of eight different Limited Edition Bill Owen lithographs will be held throughout the Show. Please go to the Awards Office to pick up your Rosette or enter the raffles. 21. Circuit Awards: A High Point Circuit Award is given to the eligible entry that earned the highest points for a respective class and under all three judges. The announcer will issue a Circuit Award
17 Coupon for each circuit award winner which is to be turned in at the Awards Office where the winner will select their award. 22. High Point Awards: High Point and Reserve High Point awards are awarded to the entry that receives the most total points in that division. Placing of the tie-breaker judge will resolve ties. The Entry Office will issue High Point and Reserve High Point Coupons which are to be turned in at the Awards Office to pick up their award. High Point Buckles and Reserve High Point Awards will be provided for Novice Youth, Youth, Novice Amateur, Amateur, Select, Open All Ages and 13 & Under. High Point and Reserve High Point awards will be provided for Walk/Trot 23. Champion and Reserve Champion Banners for: Banners will be provided for the Circuit Champions and Reserve Circuit Champions selected from each sex in the Open, Amateur and Youth Divisions. 24. Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Banners: Grand Champion Banners will be awarded to the overall Champion and Reserve Champion Stallion, Mare and Gelding. Grand and Reserve Grand Champions will be determined using a point system with two points for each Grand Champion Award and one point for each Reserve Grand Champion Award. Ties will be broken with the placing of the second show tie breaker judge.
