ELLESMERE COLLEGE ENROLMENT If your child is a year 6 student and intending to enrol at Ellesmere College for 2017, please contact Ellesmere College asap to enrol your child as these enrolments are now overdue. Ph 324 3369. HEAD LICE Headlice ARE CURRENTLY present amongst SEVERAL classrooms at school. These insects are a nuisance and can be controlled or eradicated by families. Headlice crawl from head to head and may be passed on through shared objects such as hairbrushes and hats. It is recommended that you check all members of your household carefully. Anyone can host headlice. Cleanliness is not a factor in whether headlice are present or not. Treating the hair is no guarantee that the problem has been eradicated. Success is more likely if treatment is thorough. Over the holidays, please check daily (daily checks need to be maintained for at least three weeks) and remind children to avoid head to head contact with others. Thank you for your co-operation. Please contact the school for further information. LOST TENNIS RACKETS Two blue tennis rackets were left behind last Thursday at school. Please return to the office if found.
