The Lady Bucs Volleyball Teams Beat Sugarloaf and Marathon This Week Autumnal Equinox By Ocean Coulson Time to cool down as fall blows into Key West this month. Get ready with jackets, sweaters and a pair of jeans. Though it does not seem like an important holiday you should still celebrate the day. You can celebrate the Autumnal Equinox by doing these different activities: Making a Gratitude List; Autumnal Equinox is a time of harvest. You can make fall nature crafts and create fall art. Add your personal fall decor to your home. Begin something new in your home ( a project, a book, a piece of artwork). Go on a hayride. Doing some of these fun actives can wear you out so, just relax. Jump into the fall leaves if you can find any in Key West. Or just enjoy the fall breeze, read a book, and have fun. Enjoy fall! Book Review By Stephanie Quiche-De Leon & Ariana Martin Milo By Alan Silberberg If you like sad and sentimental stories, then Milo is the perfect book for you. It s about how he misses his mom and he could never say bye to her before she died. He keeps on having to move but he meets new friends that help him get happier. What we like about book Milo is that the main character talks about his life and what happens when his mom was here. We recommend every middle school student who likes sad and sentimental books to read this.
